This tea's cut is medium fine, not powdery. It makes a delicious cup when using quality water (I use rain water as our tap water is medium hard). The aroma of the five minuted steeped brew is exactly like when Sweet Corn is in bloom. Pretty aroma. Tannin level is not too high so it doesn't make my stomach turn if I drink it on an empty stomach. I always drink tea black and this Indian tea makes a great hot beverage winter and summer.

this style of tea is excellent for use in a keurig type module for immediate brewing. Moreover, you can adjust the strength of brew by the amount put in the module. This brand provides wonderful flavor and taste -- no bitterness. I have gone through at least 15 bags of this and have found their quality consistently good. Enjoy! -- and it's a good product and great value.

I need to learn more about tea. I graduated from tea bags to dried leaves with English breakfast tea. Then it was suggested I try Indian tea, hence this purchase. This is not leaves. I don’t know what processing they’ve done to tea leaves, but in this bag are 1/16” diameter “chunks”, for lack of a better word. It reminds me a bit of instant tea, but when you add hot water these chunks don’t dissolve, they steep just like dried leaves. I need to learn more… As far as the resulting tea? Fabulous. Twice as strong as my old breakfast tea, comes out almost as black as coffee. If you like a like a kick in the pants from your tea, this tea is for you. This stuff will get you going. P.S. Not all Indian tea is chunks. Another bag I bought of Indian Tea, different brand, was dried leaves just like I was used to.

Item arrived on time in good condition. It is the perfect tea for chai.

This is NOT instant tea. It's grounds and has to be steeped. I don't know if it says that or not, if it does I completely missed it. I wouldn't have ordered it if I'd have known. I make my instant tea by the pitcher so it was hard to judge the right amount to use, so I can't give a good review right now on taste.

I'm an enthusiastic tea drinker for decades. I've bought easily 2 dozen types: black, green, pekoe, blends, chais, etc. This time I wanted a powdered-type tea so I could mix my own varieties. To that end I bought this wonderful tea. This tea looks more the size, shape and colour of poppy seeds and the wonderful fragrance...heaven! The flavour...perfect just as it is or mixed in with various things I have on hand. Great flavour! As much as I love ice tea mixes - I do like a well brewed with honey, and lemon, so I bought this fantastic tea and will add powdered lemon juice and a touch of honey. That way I'm not consuming so much sugar. For the pre-made ice tea mixes I've bought and really like, it was a balancing act of getting my caffeine first thing in the morning so I made it with many spoonfuls making it too sugary, or one spoonful in a large mug lessening the sugar as well as the lemony tang but the flavour of the tea is watered down. I learned to make a really strong sugary and highly caffeinated for the first mug of the day and then a watered down version for the rest of the day. Now I can have the balance I really want! This tea is fresh, fragrant ,and flavourful. I highly recommend this brand and this type of tea. It's awesome!
