Makes building easier, but expensive
I used this board for my latest build, a medium sized hexcopter using the Cube Black (Pixhawk 2.0) flight controller. Having the power distrubution integrated into the carrier made the build go much faster and I think it's probably more reliable than using the airframe's lower plate. Adding power for my receiver, the Hex Herelink, was as simple as connecting to the +5VDC connector, and I also have a regulated +12VDC/2A rail for my payload. The instructions are somewhat clear if you've done some building or modding in the past, but it helps to know your way around Mission Planner. Accessory connectors are not the same as used on Pixhawk 4 boards, so choose GPS and other parts carefully.
