Where are these actually made? not "made from us sourced materials". not "shipped from".... where are they made/ manufactured?

Thank you for your question and interest in BrightLine Bags. Our bags are made in China. Many of our accessories are made here domestically in the USA. We are a US based company.

Is there any way to get the brightline bag without the large lagoon the front? i'd like to place my own or something more discrete like my tumi.

Thanks for your question. I'm not sure I understand about the "large lagoon". Can you expound on that so I can better answer your question. Note-since all of BrightLine Bags are modular you can build one in any configuration that meets your requirements. The preconfigured bags are our most popular.

Is there a shoulder strap??

Yes, not a very good one in my opinion, the bag is awesome, but if you have your own strap, use it.

Will a 17in super thin laptop fit?

No, a 17 inch super thin laptop will not fit in a BrightLine Bags B4 Swift. The largest laptop that will fit in a BrightLine Bags B4 Swift is a 13". BrightLine Bags makes a Center Section 2-Tall that is specifically designed to fit a 15" laptop or tablet.
