Will this work to keep coyotes out of my yard?

The more lines of fence the better but would recommend a minimum of 3 lines will keep the coyotes from coming in the fence lines. No more then 6” off the ground and for best results 42” high or even high as 72”

What is the best way to splice this wire? twist togehter or use a low voltage splicing product?

The best way is probably too tie it in a square knot and put a copper split bolt on it. Having said that, we did some with a split bolt and some just knots. And as my grandson can attest, it works well, even far from the charger.

How visible is the wire? Looks pretty thin in pictures

It is thin and being white it’s not that visible. We use it to keep deer out of our crops. Sometime they run into it. I wouldn’t recommend it for horses because they wouldn’t see if. As a person we see it because we know to look for it. We’ve used this company’s product for the last 4 years and will continue to use it.

what is the diameter?

Good question i would have to mic it. I can tell you the diameter is strong enough to keep a herd of mules out and they have not broken through it for a year
