This is the good one. It is very well made. You can use whichever smoke oil you like. I bought some low odor type designed for the purpose, but you can use baby oil if you like that smell. This unit seemed the best value for the money out of all the ones that I looked at and it also had better reviews and it is getting another one. I was able to find several leaks in the vacuum system on a car that I was in the process of bringing back to life after being out of service for about 15 years. When I connected the smoke for the first time, I had to laugh. It was coming from so many places. I would fix a few and do it again. fix another couple and do it again. I even discovered that the gaskets around two of the six fuel injectors was leaking. Without this machine, I feel like I would never have been able to get this car running. It works great and is very easy to use. I liked it so much I bought the AUTOOL Fuel Injector Cleaning Machine. I'm happy with that one too. AUTOOL seems to make good stuff.

Worked exactly as promised. Make sure to use Johnson’s Baby oil with the pink cap. Lotsa smoke made it easy to find the leak.

Great price and quick shipping! Easy to use and helped diagnose a vacuum problem immediately. Little messy, but it's to be sure when messing with baby oil, I'm sure Diddy had that problem also! Very durable, and well built, loved the included accessories.

Leaking all over the place

Never over fill the oil resivour 10 milliliters is more than enough for any test. Easy to use. It will find the problem quickly and in my case it saved me alot of money. Very satisfied customer.

I decided to buy this device after having the same code on my durango and ram1500 for evap leak. It was the best idea as I was able to locate the leak on durango was coming through hapless gas tank, and a cracked hose under the ram 1500. My only recommendation would be to have the either the hose or the battery wores longer as it was a tight stretch to get hose on ram close to gas tank with battery hook up from front.
