I bought this as I'd got feed up with mediocre tin openers and expected this to be great given the positive reviews and expensive price compared to my regular tin opener (which was showing it's age). From the very first try at opening a tin I knew it'd be going back, but I tried it out on another 6 just to make sure, thinking it might be me or needed some how to bed in. It's easily the worst tin opener I've ever owned. It continually dropped the tin and needed at least 10-12 goes to get right around the tin. My advice is to avoid this and just get the basic one out of Ikea, as it's 100 times better than this one.

This can opener is totally wonderful; I love it. I would even go on to say that it is even better than a lot of the branded products that you can buy out on the High Street, and pay a lot more money! I would highly recommend this product. Pease be careful though, as it is very, very sharp. Definitely do keep out of the reach of young children!!

I struggle a bit with opening tin cans due to having arthritis in both hands and wrists, so was pleased to see advertised on Amazon this can opener especially developed for people like myself who do suffer from arthritis. The turning handle is large and easy to rotate, the cutting blades are plentiful and precise, also making it very easy to release the cut away lids once the can(s) are opened. I am very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it to like minded sufferers from arthritis.

Went blunt and basically unusable after approx 40 cans. Unsure if this is normal or not

Light weight, perfect grip , easy to squeeze and minimal strenght required to turn , multi purpose, great for opening jars, best hand held can opener ive ever had.

It’s hurricane season in my neck of the woods. Always important to have a manual can opener during this time. I actually use mine all year round. Easy to use. Uniform cutting. A lot cheaper and more practical than an automatic can opener.
