Review: Very Well Built and Good Typing Height - I actually like this table very much! I measured carefully while I was sitting to see how high I needed my table to be before I purchased this. Note that it is not tall enough to go over the top of a couch's arms. Instead, it is the perfect height for typing (you should be able to hold your arms low) if it has a keyboard or laptop sitting on it. I can pull the table right up over my lap and type comfortably. The table is very well-built and sturdy, I can imagine it will last for many years. The particle board top does not have the screws going directly into it; instead the screws go into metal sockets that are set into the particle board, which means they will hold a lot better for a longer time. This is a good quality table. The wood-look top really does look like wood; it even has a faint texture to it and slightly shiner/more matte pattern which mimics wood decently. The table top is slightly larger than my cheap wooden folding TV trays, but it is not quite large enough in my opinion for a mouse and a laptop at the same time. If I push my 15" laptop all the way to one side there might be barely enough room to use a mouse, but it will be cramped. For that reason I got another table for my mouse and drinks/books etc. The one table sits in front of me with the laptop, the second table curves around my couch next to me so I can rest my right arm on it, and use my mouse there. Very comfortable.

A: About 2 inches.

A: The company provides no wheels for this table, but there are holes at the bottom for adjuster feet.If you can get wheels that fit the holes, then they can be added to the bottom.

**Q: Does this table slide easily on carpet?  Is it sturdy enough to eat dinner on?**
A: I haven't used it on carpet, I have hardwood floors and it slides easily, but you could certainly place a plate of food and a glass of something on it. It's a fairly sturdy table. My couch cushions are about 19" off the floor so that only leaves about 4" of clearance so I can't slide it over my lap.

**Q: Would like to used in a covered gazebo.  Do you think the laminate can withstand outdoor humidity, etc.?**
A: not as-is - the top piece would warp immediately, but I think if you sprayed it with some rustoleum clear enamel that would prevent rust and warping for a while.

I actually like this table very much! I measured carefully while I was sitting to see how high I needed my table to be before I purchased this. Note that it is not tall enough to go over the top of a couch's arms. Instead, it is the perfect height for typing (you should be able to hold your arms low) if it has a keyboard or laptop sitting on it. I can pull the table right up over my lap and type comfortably. The table is very well-built and sturdy, I can imagine it will last for many years. The particle board top does not have the screws going directly into it; instead the screws go into metal sockets that are set into the particle board, which means they will hold a lot better for a longer time. This is a good quality table. The wood-look top really does look like wood; it even has a faint texture to it and slightly shiner/more matte pattern which mimics wood decently. The table top is slightly larger than my cheap wooden folding TV trays, but it is not quite large enough in my opinion for a mouse and a laptop at the same time. If I push my 15" laptop all the way to one side there might be barely enough room to use a mouse, but it will be cramped. For that reason I got another table for my mouse and drinks/books etc. The one table sits in front of me with the laptop, the second table curves around my couch next to me so I can rest my right arm on it, and use my mouse there. Very comfortable.

Really nice quality end table for the money. It fit my space perfectly. It arrived well packed and in excellent condition. It was very easy to put together. I 100% recommend it.

Assembly only took 20 min and it fits great in our sectional, since we do not have a lot of space for a coffee table there. Pro tip - remove the little feet on the bottom and it slides easier on rugs. I think those feet are more useful if the table is on a hard surface. Docked one star because the surface seems a little cheap, like it may chip easily, but it is what I expected at this price. Very good design and the pocket for books is a nice bonus. Rounded corners are great too.
