If your not buy a different saw because you're going to cut your self . This saw is very sharp, very accurate and rather delicate. In the right hands you can make cuts that don't need sanding. I own two other silky models and use them almost every day and they have not failed me yet. It's truly the only hand saw I use now. I'll buy it again and again!

Super awesome
Love this saw and used it all the time. I have multiple Silky saws but this is the first woodworking specific saw and it’s soooooo worth the money. Plus Silky saws seem to stay sharp forever and don’t rust even down here in the humid south

I enjoy the clean cuts and the quickness of a pull ...
This saw rocks! I am a freelance carpenter and have to travel with my tools a lot. I always find myself using a pull saw in many occasions in lieu of using a power saw. I enjoy the clean cuts and the quickness of a pull saw but storing it has always had issues. Other saws that I own are long and the plastic blade covers either get lost or fall off which risks the teeth breaking or myself getting cut when reaching into my tool bag. This design solves that problem and keeps my productivity high.

Beautiful Tool
Beautiful Saw. Well made. If you haven't used Japanese saw, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Saw cuts on pull stroke enabling better control. Narrow saw kerf means less energy expended in cutting. I keep the saw in my tool bag as it is much less hassle to pull out this saw than plugging in an electric on small cutting jobs. One recommendation. Get a pair of cut resistant gloves when using this saw. I had a minor mishap a few weeks ago and almost needed stitches. This saw is extremely sharp and can "bite" you if not respected.

Sharp and precise
Cuts smoothly and precisely. Folds nicely to keep blade safe and sound. A must have for the small and quick cuts that always come up in most projects.

切れ味よし
マグネットシートを使った治具で使うため、アサリのないノコを探していました。 あまり他の手ノコを使ったことがないので比較ができないのですが、変に引っかかったりすることなくきれいに切れます。 切断面はとても滑らか。

Worth the price
Amazing product. I have a few Silky products and the quality is definately worth the price. This is no exception, very precise and the perfect alloy to keep the sharpness and allow flexibility.
