Works well but takes up lots of space and although one of the quietest on the market at 64db it's still so noisy that I only have it on at night if I'm desperate! Much noisier than a fan. Would be great if they could make it so one could have a switch for variable coolness with it being quieter when on that setting.

I purchased a heard it was relatively quiet. It’s not. I found it really loud. Heavy to manoeuvre and not very responsive button on the panel. I would not buy again. I can use in the day and keeps the room and dog cool

This air conditioning unit has allowed me to go into my office in this heat and reduces the temp by 10-15 degrees. It’s not too noisy easy to set up, and works well; If you don’t want to go full on with the aircon and want to reduce the temp in a small/medium room, this is the suitable unit for you! It was worth every penny!

This ac unit does the job. It's heavy and the hose is cumbersome.but that's what you need for a portable ac. We use it only on very got days and it can really drop those temperatures. This is not the same as a fan. However you need to really think about this purchase as running costs will be high. If you have solar panels however then you can take advantage of the heat in two ways powering vi's renewable energy. Easy to use and operate.

Delivered a day early, (next day) Not as heavy as I thought it might be, Sleep mode is brilliant as the noise level is very low and switches itself off after 7 hours, Very quick to cool a room, then the noise level decreases, very efficient, we use it in a bedroom, so noise level was important, It is well built and nicely finished. A good purchase and I sleep much better since using it.

Works very well but use it for a small- medium rooms. Better to turn it on in the morning and leave it on if it's hot (~29degC). It's not quiet (compare it with car aircon fans working at full speed) but if it's 29deg outside and you have 1 or 2 computers working in the same room raising the temperature additionally, the noise is not your biggest problem :) It's a white noise type sound, so it's not irritating but it's intense. Earphones eliminate the noise. Don't get me wrong these mobile aircons cant be quiet, you have fans extracting hot air and fan blowing cool air and both have to work at high speed, the compressor sound is rather small part of the overall sound/noise (at least in this particular model). Power usage ~1KW sometimes less, much less if it reaches target temp (and the compressor is off).

Really effective. Arrived within 16hrs of ordering in spite of later advice at time of ordering. Works well - instructions a little confusing, but with trial and error one prevails.
