Is this waterproof. Can I use in shower?

It comes with a zipped cover over the foam. I would not use in the shower unless that was the only place you are going to be using it. It will fill with water and will take a long time to dry. You can remove the cover so it can be washed but I would not advise washing the foam cushion. I hope this helps.

I need a top surface that will not grap my pants as I slide in and out. Will this do it??
