Is the caulk a green color?

The description says it's white.

Does this work like the green glue compound or green glue sealant?

I have not used it between sheets of drywall when layering them for a soundproof wall. We use it between the bottom plate and the subfloor, around outlets and other penetrations, and at other perimeter joints. This stuff works great!
