I picked this up for my daughter and truthfully, I was blown away! It's not like any astrology book I've seen before - in fact, it COULD almost function as a story book. The illustrations are fantastic and there seems to be 20 sections to each chapter written IN THE LANGUAGE OF KIDS - your Gemini teacher, your Gemini parent, your Gemini best friend, your Gemini pet, your Gemini sibling, pet, and so on. It's confidence-boosting, fun, and educational stuff. My daughter loves it - won't put it down, actually, and we were all very impressed. Bravo, Madalyn Aslan!!!

I am SERIOUS when I say this is just the absolute absolute best book I own!! I cannot stop reading about myself in my own sign chapter and neither can my two best friends. It is so accurate you will flip! Plus it tells you about your boyfriend, your parents, new best friends, your cat or dog, your best colors to wear, the best days for you to take exams, your sister or brother, your history, etc, etc. Fully RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO Be TRULY IN THE KNOW.

The author has said that her interest in astrology began when she was seven years old because it gave her access to a secret door inside herself, and helped her to understand those action places in herself that she had known all along but could never find the words for. Her aim when writing this book was to help other children to do the same, to build their confidence through teaching them to see what is special and unique in them, and to give them a better understanding of themselves and those around them. All the information is presented clearly and in an amusing way. Madalyn goes through the astrological signs with a summing up of their qualities, and insights as to how that sign might behave or feel in different areas of their life, and what they might expect from others of that sign around them. Sections include, "Which signs you groove with: which signs you don't', 'With your family', and 'your teachers', 'In the playground', 'With your friends', ''in school', and 'How to spot…' She also lists celebrities born under each sign, describes the nature of the ruling planet, draws on Greek and Roman myths to show temperament and tendencies and has included in each chapter a quote from a child of that particular sign with their views on life or themselves. There is a spinner wheel on the back page which gives the elements for each sign and the book is indexed with tabs so that it is easy to find any particular chapter. I cannot remember the last time I saw a book so beautifully illustrated, and as I read it I found myself making a list of friends' children who might like it for a present.

I did a lot of searching for good astrology books and I bought almost 40 book of Amazon looking to find easy pictures book and this book is on number 3 in the top list , it's very easy for starting to understand the zodiac in funny way , I love it

I first saw this book at my local library. I instantly fell in love with it! :D I'm so glad to have it again! There was a few marks on the beginning pages o the book. but it was irrelevant to me. I honestly didn't care. the marks didn't interfere with the words or pictures so that's why i didn't care.

My kids were interested in learning about astrology and their signs so I bought this as something appropriate they could read and they are both really into it! Ages 10 and 8, boy and girl.

This book is so interesting and addictive. Bought it for my 10-yr old daughter for Christmas since she had expressed some interest in horoscopes and zodiacs, but I had a hard time putting it down myself...

This book is fun to read to my children and and I’m sure they will love it when they are teenagers.
