Accurate, Easy to Read
One Great Buy. Easy to read from halfway across the room, touch-to-illuminate feature an added bonus. Setup was near instantaneous. Use the magnet or notch on back for instant mounting.

exceptional device for monitoring temperature and humidity both indoors and outdoors.
If you're looking for a reliable and accurate wireless weather hygrometer with an impressive range, easy-to-read display, and backlight feature, this product is an excellent choice. The first thing that impressed me about this thermometer is its build quality. The ThermoPro brand is known for producing high-quality weather monitoring devices, and the TP62 lives up to that reputation. The device feels sturdy and well-constructed, ensuring its longevity and reliable performance in various environments. The wireless capability of this thermometer is a standout feature. It allows you to monitor the temperature and humidity levels both indoors and outdoors without the need for inconvenient wiring or constant manual checking. The device comes with a temperature and humidity sensor that can be placed outdoors up to a range of 200ft/60m. This wireless range is impressive and provides flexibility in positioning the sensor. The temperature and humidity readings displayed on the device are clear and easy to read. The large LCD screen features bold digits, ensuring visibility from a distance. The device provides real-time measurements of both indoor and outdoor conditions, allowing you to stay informed about the temperature and humidity levels in your immediate surroundings. The backlight feature of this thermometer is a practical addition. It allows for easy reading of the display even in low-light conditions. The backlight can be activated with the press of a button, providing convenient visibility at any time of the day or night. This feature is particularly useful if you need to check the readings in dark or dimly lit areas. The TP62 thermometer offers both Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature units, catering to different user preferences or geographical locations. The device also records the minimum and maximum temperature and humidity values, allowing you to track changes over time and monitor trends. This data logging feature is valuable for analyzing patterns and making informed decisions based on the recorded information. The device is user-friendly and easy to set up. It comes with a clear instruction manual that guides you through the setup process. The thermometer requires batteries for operation, which are included in the package. The device also features a low battery indicator, ensuring you are alerted when the batteries need replacement. In conclusion, the ThermoPro TP62 Indoor Outdoor Thermometer is an exceptional device that combines reliability, accuracy, and user-friendly features. With its high-quality construction, wireless capability, impressive range, easy-to-read display, backlight feature, and data logging capabilities, this thermometer provides everything you need to monitor temperature and humidity levels in your indoor and outdoor spaces. Whether you're a weather enthusiast, a gardener, or simply someone who wants to stay informed about their surroundings, this thermometer will exceed your expectations and enhance your understanding of the environment.

Junk batteries included, good thermometer so far
The junk batteries included lasted two weeks. The manual says no rechargeable batteries and recommends alkaline over lithium. I have installed four new Delco alkaline batteries and will edit this review to report any longevity problems. So far (two weeks) this TempPro has been slightly more accurate than my AcuRite 00611A3 indoor/outdoor thermometer, talking about 1° to 2° F. Winter will be the real test.

Works out in the elements, and has a 9 month battery life on a rechargable battery!
I hung my transmitter on a garden stake outside, near my full-sun uncovered patio. It's about 100ft from my receiver that is inside my kitchen. There is a small hole/hanger at the top of the outdoor transmitter, that I push a zip tie through to hang it from. Because I hang it from the top of it, rain hits it from the top and sides, but the air vents at the bottom stay dry. I also do not "mount" it to anything, and literally just let it hang out in the open, so it dries out quickly on all sides, and there is no moisture trapped between it and a mounting surface or wall. I bought this 9 months ago, and am just now "recharging" the transmitter for the first time. I realized the transmitter battery needed to be recharged when the receiver in my kitchen was reading the indoor temp/humidity, but only had dots for the outdoor temp/humidity. 9 month battery life = pretty impressive. The hardest part about it was remembering where I put the charging cord for safe keeping. In line with other reviews, there is some discrepancy in the accuracy of the reading - but not enough to make a difference for me. I use this to know whether or not it's okay to leave my temperature-sensitive dog outside for the day while I'm at work. I just factor in the possibility of a 5-10 degree F temperature difference. In fall/winter, if its lower than 60 degrees (or maybe 50 degrees if it's not reading accurately), I do not leave her outside while I'm at work. In the summer, if its already 85 degrees, and it's only 7 am (which means it might be 90+ or over 100 that day), I do not leave her outside. But if its reading between 60-85 degrees outside when I leave for work, the dog gets to stay outside and enjoy it. It's not perfect, but it takes some of the guesswork/worry out of it for me.

Accurate with good display, good transmission and max-min feature
I was surprised how good this unit is after a month's use. The only feature I'm not sure of yet and which could affect future review is battery life, but so far it is much better than the Oregon Science unit it has replaced in that: • the sensor transmits easily from outside one end of the house to the room completely at the other end and through metal siding; the last unit could not do that • While initially I had the sensor indoors right next to the receiving unit and the indoor and outdoor temps differed by a few degrees, I found this was from handling the sensor. The difference went away with time. Outdoors, the sensor sends a temperature which is within one half degree of my expensive and accurate Davis Vantage View weather station. The two devices are in someone different places in the yard, one in sun the other not, but on cloudy, calm days when the readings should be the same, they are • The contrast on the display makes it very easy to read. The display unit is relatively small but the digits completely fill the whole screen and are readable from across the room • The backlight works very well with a tap in the center top of the display • The max-min feature is not explained well in the manual but works this way: you reset the max-min by holding that button for 5 seconds, then there is another button that gives you the choice of showing the max-min temps from the last time you did a reset or the max-min temps within 24 hours of that reset. So if you reset at 11:58 PM and use the 24 hour choice it gives you the max-min since the last 11:58 PM and then starts all over for the next 11:58 PM. It counts 24 hours internally. There is no clock. If you choose the “all time” setting instead of 24 hours, the max-min never resets and you will see the max-min since the last time you reset which could have been a month ago. The unit only operates in one of the max-min modes at a time. If you set it to "all time" you cannot display the 24 hour value. • The only”con” I would register is that there is no beep or other indication that the max-min reset has been successful. You can check to see if the max-min are both the current temp when you do the reset, but a beep would be nice.

Really good accuracy
My second one. First unit purchased was checked against a lab standard, was within +/-2 deg. F within temp. band of interest; relative humidity reading close enough. Plus, supports two slave temp. gauges. Really good for $20.

When shipping UPS, the return process can be difficult!
I purchased the device to use with my RV. So I received the item UPS. Opened it the next day and reviewed the instructions, very simple to figure out. After installing the batteries in both components the receiver, was obviously not functioning correctly . It has one read out, 36. The front screen has a black area at the center bottom an area center top that appears to be a scratch under the outer protective glass. I replaced the included batteries with verified new ones, no change. Left it on for and hour no change. Pulled the batteries out and reinstalled, no change. Here's the bigger rub. It has to returned VIA UPS!! Have to print the label, round trip to UPS is probably 45 minutes and 2 gallons of gas. The price of the device is like 22$. Returning it is a waste of time to drive all the way to UPS. I use AMAZON because shipping it to my door. I filled out the return but will not be driving to UPS for the 12 bucks that I would receive from AMAZON! Probably will look for another supplier for my RV.

Unreliable in the medium to long term
Was great for about 6 months. Accurate, helpful. My wife had no idea why I was getting it, but then because...addicted to the readout! Then the outside started registering 3-10 degrees too high, consistently. The warmer it gets, the more off it got. Kinda happened all at once. Pretty disappointed.

Humidity levels inside and out
I purchased this as a replacement to looking at my phone on the weather app and i'm a very pleased. At a glance i know whether it's hot and humid or dry or cold. I'm most impressed by the reliability. I've owned cheap wireless thermometers in the past and i did not like the experience. So far so good with this unit. Outside emitter is rechargeable, which seems odd at first but i'll have to see how reliable that is in the future. It's only mounted using a screw or nail head. I used weather resistant 3M double sided tape to stick it outside a window because i live at the 4th floor. Make sure to keep the USB cable in a safe place because it is not universal. The display feature a large magnet and a screw hook for easy placement and it uses alkaline batteries. The rear button let you see 24h min/max as well as all-time min/max. There is a reset button for that also.

Nice product.
Product was over all good and reliable. But if you need my opinion, I just say one word "Overpriced"

Buen producto
Buen producto. El display es grande y el backlight es naranja, cosa que me gustó mucho. Los dos sensores son muy sensibles y con solo tocarlos tienen variación de temperatura, el sensor remoto está a 30 metros con algunos muros intermedios y llega bien la señal.

For those who always like to guess the temperature
It's my 2nd product from Thermopro, was happy with the first one and this one is just as good. The thermometer reading seems accurate as it is very close to Xiaomi air purifier's reading which is kept just 4-5 feet away. Connecting the outdoor unit/device with the main device was easy and seamless. Instructions are to the point and easily understandable. The only complaint I have is that from the pictures it appeared to be a bit bigger than it actually is. Apart from that, cannot think of anything bad about it. The built quality seems quite sturdy as well, just like their other device that I previously bought. Thermopro can mark me down as a happy and content customer.
