Rowdy Kinder Fahrrad-Steckschutzblech (Set) // 20'-24'

I didn't even realize I was getting a rear fender as well until I received my package. I initially ordered this for the front fender for my Dahon Speed P8 folding bike. It fits and performs great without incident or compromise. However I do not even use the rear fender that came with the package as it is intended to attached onto the bike-seat downtube and on folding bikes this tube is collapse to achieve the compact size in commute meaning I would either have to adjust the rear fender every time I get on/off a train or remove it entirely. It is not a tool-less installation either so the entire ordeal would be a hassle. This is not to say the bundled fenders are not good, I love the front fender and the build quality of both but if you are on a folding bike then the rear fender may not be for you. I suppose I'll give it away as a gift.

I’ve started riding a bike to work after not really having ridden one since I was a teenager and on the first rainy day got a lot of mud and dirty water splashed on my dress clothes so I decided to buy these. The install was fairly simple. An Allen/hex wrench is required but not provided. You need a bit of muscle to assemble the pieces. The front fender is very sturdy. The back one swivels around a bit because where it connects on my bike is covered in rubber rather than just bare metal. Not that much of an inconvenience though. Overall these work pretty well and I am content. The design looks pretty sleek as well.

Awesome fender set from SKS! It really fits my 20" Doppleganger folding bike (matching orange color too). The shipped item inside the box had quite a dust on it but I really don't mind since it will get dirty once installed. Initially thought that I would need to clamp it on the seatpost but I preferred to clamp it below that, on the bike frame instead. Lo and behold, when I did try fitting it, it just fit perfectly. the option to adjust the angle of the fenders and the adjustment on the distance of the fender itslef from the fener 'arms' really allows customization.

As I'm sure you can tell from the pictures, I obviously didn't read what I was buying as these are for a 20"-24" wheelset. That being said, I couldn't be more pleased. I think they look as well as they function. They were extremely easy to install and have proven to be as functionally sound as their appearance. I do need to slide the rear forward a little in really muddy conditions to avoid getting my legs muddy but for an everyday rider I would not only recommend but encourage anyone to purchase these extremely versatile guards.

The plastic is sturdy. The coverage is good. Challenges: - the bolts were not any longer than original bolts. Which meant we could not remount reflectors as the metal tabs for the fender mounts took up the reflector tab space. - the bots heads are all hidden by the installation process. You cant "soft tighten" the post clamp align everything tight and then tighten clamp. The clamp is blocked by the fender arm mount. So you have to align and fully tighten the clamp, add the arm, add the fender.... and hope you had full alignment. Otherwise you have to disassemble and try again. And with a long fender, an 1/16" off at the seat post clamp can be a 1/2" off at the fender rear tip and not fully cover the tire. Then the front back adjustment of tire coverage bolt head is UNDER the fender. Which meand you mount and align everything, want more rearward coverage... you have to unbolt the fender arm, turn over fender, loosen bolt, slide the fender and tighten. Reassemble the arm, and hope that you got the distance you wanted. Because if not you have to do it all over again. While.maybe slightly less attractive, the collar bolt heads should be accessible while the entire fender is mounted, and the fender front to back adjustment should be bolt head up to you can loosen, tap adjust, and tighten without disassembling the fender arm.

SKS Fenders need I say more. You get what you pay for quality. The set comes complete, 2 piece fender for the front and one piece fender for the back of a 20" bike wheel. I did not buy these fenders to use on a bike though. I am just using the front fender/ 2 piece to add to my Burley Nomad Trailer so I have a fender around the wheels on the trailer while I am touring. Don't need rain and mud flying forward or spraying all over the trailer. My design worked great using this SKS Front Fender on my trailer. See Photo

I put these on a folding bike with 20" wheels. They are a little young and rowdy looking but not expensive and the front is easy to install and just right. The rear attaches to seat post and floats sometimes bonked by the luggage carrier but not a big deal. These are a good quality flexible plastic so no cracks. Will modify them eventually. Happy with this product they keep the spray off and that is what a fender does.

It's been decades since I rode and worked on a bicycle, but I recently purchased a hybrid bike because I'm getting old and fat. The bike came with no fenders so I bought those, lights and a bell for my new ride. These are more mud flaps than fenders, but are a better look and functional for my needs. It took a couple attempts and slight tweaking but these fenders installed with relative ease. German engineering did not disappoint.

Die Montage ging insgesamt kinderleicht, nur das vordere Schutzblech war etwas fummeliger zu befestigen, aber auch das hat ohne Probleme geklappt. Die Passform ist hervorragend, die Teile sitzen fest und wackeln nicht. Besonders positiv finde ich, dass sie stabil und robust verarbeitet sind – man merkt direkt, dass hier nicht an Material gespart wurde. Im Einsatz erfüllen sie ihren Zweck genau wie gewünscht: Spritzwasser und Schmutz werden zuverlässig abgehalten, egal ob auf nassen Straßen oder Feldwegen. Mein Sohn bleibt deutlich sauberer, und das Rad sieht nach Regenfahrten nicht gleich komplett verschlammt aus. Für den Preis bekommt man hier ein wirklich gutes Set, das optisch modern aussieht, stabil sitzt und zuverlässig schützt. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen und klar weiterempfehlen.

Fits a Decathlon Riverside 20-incher nicely and looks good. Minor gripe is a lot of work to adjust the position perfectly, but once it's done it's great.
