Six years and no issues!
Have had this in use for six years...with zero issues. It has great suction, and I find it is effective on bare floor and carpet. It is too wide to sit on the steps when I am vacuuming them, so I have to keep a leg against it and use the wand and floor brush do the steps . Luckily it is lightweight! I can't stand bagless vacs, and really is the best of the bagged I have had..including a Meile that was not worth the money. I did have an Oreck that I liked, but it was an upright, and I need a hose for crevices and baseboards. I love the Mighty Mite. (If you can love a vacuum😂)

simply the best home vacuum, at any price
I believe this is the most functional and flexible home vacuum that money can buy in the US. I've had one for 11 years. It still works like new on our wood floors, tile, medium-pile wool carpets, upholstered chairs, and fur-matted cat cushions. But I wanted a dedicated vacuum for the workshop, so I exhaustively researched new home vacuums at all prices...and still ended up buying this one again. All home vacuums sold in the US max out ~12 amps due to electrical safety constraints, so they all max out at 130-150 cfm airflow. Look at the manufacturer specs. A $600 Miele vacuum gives you the same performance as this $60 unit. What makes this 12-amp unit better than all the rest, is its super-light weight. The canister is less than 8 pounds, including cord & attachments. You can carry it in one hand while you vacuum, or you can put it on a shoulder strap. This makes it super easy and fast to move around furniture, walls, stairs, carseats, etc. The basic MM design has been the same for over 15 years. Eureka sells it under different brands, with two different motors (10A vs 12A), and various different attachments in the box. But all the parts are interchangeable across models. Hundreds of stores sell the parts. Bags cost less than $1 each online, less than $2 each in the local hardware store. Any standard 1.25" ID attachment works. I ordered a soft-bristle (horsehair) duster for shelves & electronics, and a half-width (5") nozzle for the stairs, from Amazon, for just $5 each. If you need to clean cobwebs from a 16-18 foot ceiling, I think the extra extension wands also run about $5. OK, the downsides: -- The 12 amp motor currently comes in yellow or purple only. I prefer red, but the red model (Sanitaire SC3683A) is 10 amps. -- It is louder than some of the super-expensive models. Though frankly all vacuum cleaners are noisy...and if you can vacuum your home 2x faster, the noise lasts only half as long. :) -- It looks and feels cheap. But this does not affect performance, usability, or durability. The only maintenance I've done on my 11-year old model was to add a few drops of oil to the motor shaft, about 4 years ago. After that it ran cooler and quieter. I know I'm gushing, but I've owned so many poorly-designed, failure-prone consumer products over the years, that I love to find a perfectly functional, durable product. And even better when it's super cheap. Nice one, Eureka. Hope this helps.

Might need to bang it against something.
So two things I want to say. First, is that this is a first day/usage review. Second, if you buy this product and are disappointed with the performance, bang it around a little, check your connections, reset your bag etc... Okay, so I read the reviews, read some positives, negatives etc... I own a Kirby which I will not admit to how much I paid for it but it is a FANTASTIC machine. There are a few drawbacks however. It is HEAVY, it is bulky and in order to switch tools you must remove parts and attach the parts that you need. So, when there is a job that is too big for the dust buster and too small for the Kirby we still end up pulling out the Kirby. Now, we have mostly hardwood floors and area rugs. We also have two cats and a dog. The cats tend to drag a lot of litter out of the box with them because... well because they are ghetto ass cats I guess. Anyway, this means vacuuming around their box EVERYDAY. This is too big of a job for the dust buster so everyday I have been yanking out the big Kirby and I just got a bit tired of it. So, I looked for a small, corded canister vacuum cleaner that I could use just around the litter boxes behind the bar and out to the living room. So, after searching for a cheap vacuum with good suction that either had a HEPA filter or could have one added, I ended up ordering this thing. I got it today, immediately hooked it up, flipped it on and was less than amazed. Yeah, it picked up the litter and other things from the floor but not like I expected. Was it a keeper? Yeah, because it did what I wanted it to do but I was hardly impressed and really thought of it as a high two or low three so it got a three. Anyway, while dragging this thing around (it is REALLY lite) the machine bumped into one of my walls, the sound from the machine changed and the head stuck to the floor. HOLY CRAP!!! By that time I was on an area rug and when I lifted the head off of the rug, the rug came with it. I went ahead and vacuumed over where I had already vacuumed and this thing was pulling litter out of the corners and edges. NICE!! Before I switched it off I placed the head flat on the hardwood floor and lifted it. It actually took force to lift it off of floor. Now, some might say that is what it is supposed to do but for a cleaner that is this light and this inexpensive to have that kind of suction suction.... well... I think I got the bargain. I will admit that it doesn't seem to be the most sturdily made cleaner but it is meant to be dragged around the house, not withstand an ultimate fighter cage match. If it holds up and does not breakdown than my review ends here. If it does, there will be more to read. below.

Eureka 3670G Mighty Mite Canister Vacuum
Great light vac for quick clean up around the house. I use it as my only vac. It serves the purpose of a larger upright or cannister. Very strong suction, easy to navigate, light to lift and does as good a job on getting up my three dog's hair from the couch or rug as a larger more expensive vacuum. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the connecction between extension parts connected to tool sometimes comes apart and has to be reconnected while working. One also had to manually adjust the opening for suction strength to adjust to surface being cleaned, but this is easy as the adjustment is right next to your hand and can be done without interrupting cleaning. This adjustment is easy and comes naturally after a bit of practice. This vac is perfect for an apt or for a larger house. It works great on my wood floors, Persian rugs, and brocade curtains. The bags are also easy to change and to find and are cheap (I order mine in bulk from Amazon).

Great Vacuum
I've owned Might Mite Canister Vacuums for the past 30 years. This vacuum is very inexpensive so I wasn't sure what to expect. Well it really "sucks", pun intended. I can't complain about the power of the product, it is fantastic. If I could just put the motor in my 30 year old case. The case is very cheap. The on/off button is built into the case and I don't believe it will stand the test of time. The flexible tubing is so cheap it bends and cuts off air flow and the connector to the canister is different from previous models (I own three) so I can't just change the hose. The combo brush tool is a joke, don't bother just buy another full sized brush and upholstery tool. I do like how they put the attachments on the case. The included crack and crevice tool is always handy and the floor brush feels durable and works very well. In summary: Pros: Great Power Floor tool is sturdy Tool storage built into case! The canister pulls nicely, nice big back wheels The cord length is acceptable The bag size is very nice Cons: The canister feels very cheap, almost fragile especially the on/off button The plastic hose is terrible; I'm going to check with local vacuum shop for fitting to make my old hose work. The tube that connects the hose to attachment is very lightweight plastic. I just threw it away and use the metal telescoping tube from an older Mighty Mite. Summary: If you have an old canister vacuum you should be able to put together a very nice product. Just don't expect the out of the box product to last very long. Why four stars??? This vacuum really "sucks". I just finished cleaning out a very dusty and very large closet without even one sneeze. 2/10/2013 Edit I've been using this vacuum for well over a month now and I couldn't be more impressed. I've changed the star rating to a five because this thing performs so well. I have changed the plastic tubing with my metal telescoping and I use a better dusting brush, but everything else I have left the same. I just can't sing enough praises. All of the sand disapears out of the grout and it actually sucks down to the floor and carpeting. I used my upright on the one carpeted room with a new bag and a new belt on the brush. Then I put a new bag in the Mighty Mite and vacuumed again. I was shocked at the amount of dirt that the Might Mite picked up that was left behind with the upright (the upright is a commercial Eureka). I'm sold. Buy it you won't be sorry.

The best value in hard surface vacs - incredible suction, super light and durable.
I'll preface this by saying I've enjoyed really nice Electrolux vacs over the years - back before they got assimilated - real Electrolux units - the type you'd refurb and hand down to your kids. I've also owned my fair share of Eurekas, Hoovers, Panasonics, Sears, Dirt Devils, etc in both uprights and canisters. Not one of them was perfect nor "did it all", despite their claims. No one really wants to do bare floors with an upright. So keep in mind, this review is within the scope of the typically defined tasks for canisters with non powered heads. This is my second Mighty Mite (I purchased it for my daughter) and I can't say enough about these. If you have mostly uncarpeted areas to clean (in our case it's ceramic tile) this thing is really great. The good: Incredible suction. I've had one for 18 months of brutal usage, and as long as you change the filter and bag - it just works incredibly well. It's light - the lightest canister I've ever seen. It's durable - its taken many a spill, and not one bit has chipped or cracked and it still works like new. And it's cheap. So cheap. Same may say it feels cheap, and it doesn't feel like a $1000 vac, but did I mention how nothing has broken or chipped on it despite hitting the hard tile numerous times? It has some flaws, it's designed to a price point, but it has incredible suction, is super reliable, light enough to carry all the time, and parts and accessories are cheap. To that point - things you might want: 1) HEPA filter. The same HEPA filter that fits on the "Pet" version of this vac fits this one. They're the same basic unit. It snaps over the exhaust. Bingo - you have a HEPA filter. 2) A bigger hard surface floor brush. I bought a nice one for about $10 or so that is wider, has a nice bristle pattern, and now there is little chance of scratching the floor and zero nice from the head. 3) The shoulder strap - Eureka makes the strap, mostly for it's Sanitaire version of this vac, but it fits this one just fine. You'll find the part number in the accessories catalog with the vac, but oddly, good luck finding it online. The vac is so light that with the strap you have both hands free to move a chair and still control the vacuum hose. And with no canister on the ground, you will be surprised how fast you can vacuum. The bad: if you have carpet, this is not ideal - you need a powered head. And as I mentioned earlier, it's designed to a price point - certain parts feel flimsy - the hose is small and thin (but mine has NEVER broken or collapsed) and the attachments don't have much...bristle. But if you read above - you can fix almost any of that. Some people don't like the friction only connectors for the hose and wand and attachments. Mine fall apart fairly regularly, but usually when I pick it up when it's been stored - and it's not tragic - they just slip back on, and if I remember to make sure each is tight before I start to vacuum, they probably won't fall apart while I vacuum. So, you can complain about this super inexpensive vac not having a brush, wand, or feature, but if you look, you might just find that you can add it for a few dollars. This is an inexpensive vacuum, very narrow in focus (hard surfaces), so it's not for everyone. On the other hand, I always had a canister (usually an expensive one with a motorized carpet head) and an upright anyway, and the uprights are generally excellent carpet cleaners, so I didn't miss much by losing carpet capable cleaning from a canister. If that sounds like you, you might want to think about this little vac.

Great vacuum. Cheap, crappy hose, which you must replace with a better one.
A great vacuum. The vacuum itself is indestructible. Just ordered my third one. The first, which I bought about 10 years ago is still going strong, as is the second bought about 5 year ago. The only real issue is the hose, which is absolute cheap garbage. Buy a replacement non-Eureka hose for about $25 and you've got a small, powerful vacuum for life.

Great for a garage vacuum
Hi. Let me start off by saying I was looking for a vacuum for the garage. It seemed to me that vacuuming is the most thorough way of removing dirt, sand, and debris from the garage as opposed to sweeping or using a compressor for blowing air. Of course, using our in house Dyson was not something that impressed my wife, and the shop-vac with the 6 foot cord and 5 foot hose didn't cut it. So I looked around a bit at cheaper upright vacuums, but ended up settling on this one for a couple of reasons- price, has a bag, the suction based on reviews. After getting this and using it a few times I have to say it met all my expectations. After using an upright primarily, it does take some getting used to, using the long handles/tubes. However, the way it swivels actually makes it quite easy to get under vehicles as you can get it almost flat to the ground. The suction is very good, on par with our small shop-vac, and is able to suck up leaves and small rocks easily. I also wanted something with a hose, and this works well, as with the hose and the long extensions, I am able to reach up to the corners of our 10 foot high ceiling to remove cobwebs and their designers. Some people may not like having to use bags to collect and dispose of debris, however bags were my preference for the garage. That way, any little insects or critters I vacuum up are somewhat contained. I probably only do a thorough cleaning of the garage a couple of times a year, so to me it's not big deal to just throw the bag afterwards even if it isn't completely full. The bags average less than $1 a piece, and I will probably only use about 3 a year. The only downside I've run into is the silly slip ring you can adjust to change how powerful the suction is. For my purposes I always want the suction as strong as possible. However, it's very easy to hit that slip ring and accidentally open it. It seems it's not in a great spot to keep your hand on it to keep it closed constantly either. I may wrap a little duct tape around it to keep it closed, but as a flaw it's not quite enough for me to deduct a star. Also, when not in use it's small enough I just hang the canister on a 12 inch hook on the wall and hang the hose and they're out of the way. I've had it for about 8 months now, and am happy with my purchase.

Literally EUREKA!
I recently purchased this vacuum on December 14, 2024, for $89.99 (plus taxes, totaling $101.69), and I couldn't be happier with my choice. I use it to clean our hardwood floors I was tired of using Swiffers, this does a much better job. Here are the features I like: 1. Affordable Price: Excellent value for the cost. 2. Lightweight and Portable: Easy to move around and carry. 3. Long 20-Foot Cord: Provides ample reach without constantly switching outlets. 4. Bagged Design: No hassle of cleaning a canister. 5. Powerful Suction: Impressive performance for a compact vacuum. 6. Compact Size: Easy to store in small spaces. 7. Useful Add-On Tools: Includes a brush and crevice tool for versatile cleaning. The only downside I've noticed is the plastic on/off switch, which seems flimsy and might not last long. Despite this, I would definitely buy this vacuum again and highly recommend it to friends and family.

Great vacuum with a couple little quirks. ***To adjust suction, read my review***
Great little vac! We don’t have a lot of carpet so I mainly got this for wood floors and a couple area rugs. Works great. Suction was surprisingly strong for such a little vac. Having the attachments right on the vacuum is nice and the power cord wraps up perfectly out of the way. The ONLY thing that disappointed me was the plastic hoses do not have a latch to secure them so they came off several times while I was just going over the floor lightly. I have some velcro with adhesive backing on it so I’m going to use that to keep the hoses secured and when I want to remove them, it will be easy. The vacuum is very light too and even with a very painful back and shoulders, the light weight of this vacuum made it easy to move around. Very light to push around too. If you have pain or other mobility issues and heavy vacuums are problematic, this would be a good vacuum for you (just get someone to secure the hard plastic hoses for you). We have a very small broom closet but this vac is so small it can even fit in there! We have a cordless vacuum as well that I will keep using down in the entrance instead of moving the vacuum down a split level (not that it would be difficult to carry anything but we the cordless so it’s just easier) but I’m getting tired of not finishing the vacuuming because the thing loses the charge or suction. Told myself I was not going to spend an arm and leg on a vac and it would be corded so I can do a good job without worrying the charge won’t last long enough. Overall, I really like this vac but the hoses just being stuck into one another is where I took the star away. I’m sure Eureka could have threaded the hoses so they screw into one another and added a few cents to the price. I recommend if you’re ok with the minor issues. For the price (I paid $60), I think it’s a steal. Edit: to keep the hoses together and not pulling apart, I used some strips of adhesive-backed velcro and put the fluffy side around each hose end and secured them together with small pieces of the the hook side of the velcro. Keeps it all together and doesn’t prevent them from being taken apart whenever I wanted the hose shorter. All sorted. Now I’m really pleased with my purchase! Edit: I just noticed a couple reviews regarding the inability to change the suction of this vacuum. This is incorrect. It is very easy to change the suction from full to lowest. Near the handle there is a yellow band, as it appears to wrap around the hose. You simply turn this yellow band and it exposes an opening in the hose. Open it fully to lower the suction, close it for the most powerful suction. I didn’t notice this myself until a few days ago (I’ve had this vacuum for about 3 weeks now). We’re used to dials and more techy sort of things so this can easily be overlooked. But it works perfectly. This vacs suction is so is strong, I typically have to open this yellow band a little or the vacuum head literally sticks to the floor. Great for hard floors but super hard to use on carpet. Just give this band a twist and it will make vacuuming carpet a breeze.

Great little vacuum
I bought this for the basement and the ease of doing a quick vacuum with the convenience of not having to bring the other vacuum up and down the stairs. I am not disappointed! Strong suction (actually quite impressive), super light, moves and rolls with ease, nice long cord and long hose. The only thing I sense might be an issue is when vacuuming thicker area rugs, I just get a feeling that the vacuum head has the potential to break from pushing down too hard on thicker rug piles. What I mean is, with thinner rug piles, the vacuum head glides over easy and the suction is good but when I vacuum this one rug that is a bit thicker, the vacuum is not quite as strong and by reflex I push down harder and it feels like continuously doing this would break the vacuum head. So, yes, obviously I back off and just let the vacuum head glide over the rug but because the suction isn't as strong in this particular thicker rug, I am having to go over the area a couple of times. I guess what I'm trying to say is if you have medium to thick rugs, I'm not sure this vacuum is for you. But! If you have thin or low pile rugs or just flooring then do not hesitate to purchase this vacuum. You will not be disappointed.

Very portable and light weight
This product is perfect for what I bought it for. For the house at large we have a very good Kenmore vacuum from Sears. That vacuum is perfect for heavy duty cleaning on carpets and whole home vacuuming. I bought this vacuum to make small jobs easier and to take to the office (where there is no vacuum) and for using in the vehicles. I can now see myself using this for hard to reach cobwebs and underneath heavy furniture that I don’t feel like moving each time I vacuum. The suction really is amazing. I am extremely happy with the suction power. It is also very lightweight which means I don’t mind taking it with me to the office. It has enough extension on the attachable hoses to be very useful in hard to reach corners for cobwebs. An automatic retractable power cord would be great, but it’s easy enough to wind the cord up and the cord is nice and long. For the price of the vacuum, it’s not worth being upset about. As well, it is just so nice and light that it is worth forgetting about the inconvenience of having to wind up a cord. This would be a very useful vacuum for anyone living in a small apartment without much carpeting, especially if you are on a budget or cannot handle a heavy vacuum. I live in a house but I think this is a great second vacuum for jobs that I don’t want to lug around a heavier vacuum for. Also great for getting into hard to reach spots.
