I want to install these speakers in my backyard, but it doesn't have roof, the speakers will hold the rain and the sun?

For anyone worried about these being installed in an unprotected area... I owned a pair of these speakers for 10 years until this Fall when I dropped one from 6 feet as I was uninstalling it from the house to bring them in for the winter... killing the subwoofer. Until then, we had one attached to the unprotected side of the house and the other SITTING IN THE MULCH of the opposite garden bed against the patio. We never brought them in or covered them during the 6 months of Spring, Summer and Fall every year that we used them. They were exposed to full sun, torrential rain storms, hail and frost and in 10 years never lost their punch. My only complaint is the nasty yellow color they turned by being exposed to the sun for so long. Maybe we got lucky with this pair or maybe their just AWESOME!

Has anyone used these outdoors during the winter months? I am looking for a good set of speakers to mount on the pergola by the hot tub.

just put mine up but I plan on keeping them up all year. Im in PA so it will get crappy outside but they are "outdoor"speakers so if you can mount them under something for alittle protection they should be ok.They sound great for the $$ by the way.

can I make these bluetooth compatible ?

You can use these with ANY receiver. If your receiver is not bluetooth capable you can make it compatible with a bluetooth adapter. How can I use these with my iPhone and pandora wirelessly?

They are just outdoor speakers... You would have to have them hooked up to a stereo receiver or TV to play your iPhone or pandora. These have to be wired
