This satellite worked perfect and was the best purchase for the price

The replacement box worked great., The problem was with Direct TV! ! Direct tv wanted me to upgrade to their new system at a much higher price . It took several phone calls and threats to disconnect to get them to activate the new box. All is good now..

When you buy these keep all your paper work. I had to give Direct TV a lot more information than I was expecting to to get these activated. They work as advertised. I just took a long time on the phone with Direct TV to get them fired up and working. Be patient with Direct TV, they will get you there.

I purchased this receiver to go in my travel trailer I bought a Wineguard satellite to watch directv and could not get program loaded finally contacted directv and a technician came out found transponder were not being picked up by the receiver he swapped the receiver and in no time I was watching tv in my trailer so be aware I wish I would of contacted directv instead of trying to save a dollar Jim

After reading the reviews and talking with Directv (who wanted a $50 extra) to send me one I decided to buy here. After hearing some units still owed money and couldn't be hooked up I decided to by "new". Came quick, in a new box and wrapped with instruction to not open until you call Directv. I called, they checked the serial number and it was brand new. Worked perfectly. Very happy with my purchase all the way around. This not a product you want to buy "used".

I was unable to use this Receiver because it was "in collections" so it could not be activated by Direct TV. I was sent an email with a return label - at my cost of course $10 to return it via USPS. I have not as of yet, received my credit on this item. I would not recommend this item - seller - to anyone.

This is a good receiver works so great.... Only thing I'm unhappy with is when I called directv to put the receiver on my acct, they told me even thou I bought this received when I was done with it the receiver has to be returned to them, and it has to be on acct for two years...Don't quite understand that!!

I bought this Directv Satellite Receiver instead of "leasing" one from Directv. I was not charged any extra fees by Directv, as I have been a good customer for 15 years, nor did I have to extend my contract w/Directv. It was not difficult to change this receiver out with my old one that died. I just called Directv, and the activation went well.
