You can get a HEPA filter for the vac itself. As far as bags go, not so sure. What is the length of the hose?

Not sure of the exact length of the hose but can reach the ceiling easily for cobwebs and such.

What is the long black piece that I do not find any information on use. Long piece with knob insert on one end and a plastic screw on other?

The cord is an actual extension cord. The black piece is to keep the extension cord connected while running the vacuum. It isn’t ideal but it works if you don’t remove the cord completely when unwinding it for use.
