Gets the Job Done
I was specifically looking for a wide toothed comb to detangle my 4c/4b hair. I came across this product in my search. I was looking for something sturdy and of good quality. I clicked on this comb and after going through reviews I found they were mostly positive so I decided to purchase it. The comb arrived on time and was packaged well in a nice box with care instructions, just as others have pictured in their reviews. Upon first impressions it is on the smaller side (7 inches as described in the product description) which is exactly what I was looking for to maintain better control when combing. The comb had a crystallized looking white substance on it which I just assumed is protective coating. It was easily wiped off with a towel. Spacing between the teeth is not as wide as some other combs but its decent enough. Be warned that the coloring is a bit greenish (well, mine is) and not as tan brown as is shown in the product pictures. My comb has gotten a bit greener after use but its not really an issue for me. The sandalwood aroma is pleasant when its close enough to smell. When in use the comb glided pretty well through my hair without much snags. Cleaning my hair out of the teeth is quick and easy. So far it is a good product and I hope that continues as it gets more use.

Wonderful!! Better than I expected...
Love this comb! It's a wonderful tool for my naturally curly hair. My hair can get very tangled because it's ultra fine and naturally curly. The combination of this and the sub tropical climate of southern humidity, makes for bad hair! This comb saves me from that! It combs out all the tangles without having to even use a goopy product! Hallelujah! I love my new beautiful comb! It looks like a piece of art work too! What a beautiful styling tool! So pleased with my purchase. I just wish they made one a little bit bigger. This one seems on the small side. Other than that, no problem. Oh and the smell of the comb is wonderful!!! It smells like I have used a high end hair product on my hair, but it's just the comb!

Curly-Haired Girl Approves
This is a great brush. It's the only one I use now! I always look at negative reviews first, because shopping online can be a daunting task. You never really know what you're getting until it arrives. You just have to have faith it is exactly as its advertised. However, I felt comfortable enough trying this out because of the price. I was not disappointed, and I cannot see myself going back to any plastic or nylon-bristled brush. My hair looks better than it ever did, because this brush distributes the oils from the top of my hair to the bottom. That's actually why I bought it. I heard natural bristled brushes or wooden combs would have this positive effect. When I first received the brush it had a bunch of tiny and clear plastic strips coming out of it. I don't think it was supposed to be part of the brush, because when I ran cold water over it they all came out. I guess it's better than them coming out in my hair! I have curly hair, so I decided to go with a wide toothed comb. I heard wide toothed combs wouldn't separate each cluster of hair that forms a ringlet or curl. With closer toothed combs and regular brushes I seemed to always get bushy hair because they separated the curls so much. After using this brush on my dry hair, it worked well and the curls remained. I don't have extreme ringlets or thick hair, but my hair is still curly. So for people with mild curls and thinner hair like me, this brush works wonders!

The struggle was real
Since I reached a certain milestone that middle aged women go through, my hair has gotten very dry. As a result, combing it out after a shower was a struggle. I’d have to comb it out while the conditioner was still in it, rinse, towel dry, spray on detangler, and comb thru the snarls for a while. Even with good product, my hair was dull and lifeless. I was considering getting a pixie cut, but figured I’d give this comb a try. First impressions: it’s great quality, nice looking, and the handle is a pleasure to hold. I was a little concerned that the teeth might be a little too wide. On Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, the Match was on: The Comb vs. The Matte o’ Wet Hair. It was no contest. The Comb quickly dispensed of the Matte — the teeth were the perfect width to get thru without leaving any snarls. No hair was harmed in the combing out of the matte, and I’m looking forward to a lot less split ends.

Beautiful easy to use
This arrived packaged very beautifully and securely. It was like getting fine jewelry. I used this on dry and wet hair and it works great on both. My daughters and I all have long, thick hair and this glided through. Even on huge tangles it doesn't hurt by pulling hair out. There is less hair on the comb than any other brush or comb I've ever used. And it takes about a minute to get all tangles out with no detangler sprays or creams, versus several minutes of brushing with using hair detangler with other combs. I can't think of a single bad thing to say about this comb. Some others were disappointed theirs looked different than the picture, but you have to expect being a natural wood product no two will ever be identical. Yours will be uniquely yours! But it looks close enough to know it is the same product pictured. See mine, gorgeous to look at and so wonderful to use!

No more brushes for this wavy/curly woman
It amazes me that, at 30, I'm still getting advice on hair care that blows my mind! I have thick, wavy, curly, long red hair - frizz on top and all... except frizz no more! My new hairdresser (who is now my go-to lady-of-the-locks!) was astonished that I was using a brush, and insisted very firmly that I switch over to a comb. I have terrible memories of combs and brushes having to be cut out of my hair when I was younger, so my internal monologue first went something like, "Hell, no." But then lady-of-the-locks recommended a wider set comb with larger gaps between the teeth, and using wood instead of plastic or metal to eliminate frizz. My hair has never been so frizz free! I also love the added perk that this seems very gentle on my hair (far less being pulled out or torn/broken when combing when compared to brushing) and, somehow, the wider teeth are actually helping my curls and waves stay both natural/soft and fully formed. Sign me up for a lifetime supply (or some nice oils to care for this ;) ) because I'm never going back to brushing.

I absolutely love this brush
I absolutely love this brush. For a long time I had been using the tangle teezer, but as it's seen better days and the bristles are getting all bent I decided to go for a new brush. I've been wanting to try a wooden brush as they're meant to last quite a while and are more natural (aka not plastic). I got this brush and can't say how much I love it! It's a great size esp. for someone who travels, the teeth are just the right space apart for my curly hair, and it does seem quite good quality for the reasonable price. I always have to brush my hair wet and this does a great job with that. It smells faintly of sandalwood, which I like, but don't notice the smell transferring to my hair (which is totally fine).

Best comb, gentle on hair, lovely to hold making it easier to get knots out.. worth the money!🙂
I totally recommend this comb! 🙂 Yes its a bit pricey, but it's really worth the money. It looks really well made and smells lovely, it comes packaged in a classy box. I have waist length hair, the comb is so gentle on my hair making it easier to get knots out after washing, plus its sturdy / easier to hold. DEFINITELY the BEST comb iv ever bought! 🙂
