Great Value for an Amazing Compact Scope
I am very happy that I found this optic! The clarity of the image and level of magnification are very impressive for such a small optic. I have several larger, heavier and more expensive optics that provide the same quality image! I like to keep a zoom optic handy at all times, and this is perfect for keeping in my truck and taking along when I hike. The Viper is incredibly small and light, yet still manages to feel very solid and durable. I love the feel of the molded case that provides a good grip, and it included a handy lanyard so I can hang it from my wrist when walking about and a carrying case for attaching it to a belt. As if that wasn't good enough for the price, I reached out to Roxant with comments about the product and got a great answer right away. Quality product, fair price, and excellent service: You can't ask for better than that! Roxant has made a fan out of me, I'll definitely be looking at their other products for my next optic purchase!

Practical, Value & Quality!
I recently received my Viper Pocket Scope, my first monocular. Having spent considerable time researching other brands, I settled on Roxant due to their reputation for quality and reliability. The product was well packaged and came with a carrying case which can be looped through a belt, hand strap, cleaning cloth, and lens covers. In the hand, the Viper is easy to hold with its textured grip and molded finger groves, provides clear magnification, and feels solid while remaining lightweight and compact. The main use for the Viper will be at the range for target feedback purposes, although this will also be used for concerts and travel. At this price point, you cannot go wrong with the Viper due to Roxant’s solid reputation and quality product line.

Happy with this device
My old monoscope gifted to me was a 5x20 non focusable unit. It works and is easily pocketable. It has a wide view angle that works while wearing glasses and not wearing glasses. I wanted more viewing reach. This Roxant Viper is 10x25 giving me further sight reach while still maintaining pocketability. Bonus is it is focusable! This is far more clear than my old monoscope, I am pleased with it’s lightness snd function. The only downside is viewing while wearing glasses is not optimal. While using this Roxant, I put my glasses on top of my head, not a huge deal. I kinda’ wish the view angle was wider, but thats nit picking. This unit is $21 , its affordable and suits my needs. I recommend this product for a quality to cost ratio. I’m not interested in a larger more cumbersome $80 unit. Just buy this Roxant Viper

Broken and cheap
This product just inexplicably stopped working. We cannot see through it and the product help website is inexistent. Would not purchase.

Excellent simple scope. I have 2!
I bought this along with the similarly priced monocular from Celestron and Barska along with the much more expensive Vortex, all 10x25. I needed something small for quick and simple looks at targets, or for some nice views while hiking, in situations where a proper spotting scope was unnecessary. After comparing, the Roxant is the only one I kept and I'm very happy with it (Celestron was good too). Some details: The Barska was the only one with meaningfully inferior optics, mostly chromatic aberration. To my delight, both the Celestron and Roxant were close to if not comparable to the ostensibly higher quality Vortex, with the Roxant possibly just edging out the Celestron (no complaints with either). The Roxant mono's ergonomics are very similar to the Vortex, just slimmed down. I actually prefer this. The Vortex is built like a freakin' tank, which is great, but I intentionally wanted something small and light to keep on my belt and to grab at a moment's notice. For this the Roxant is a little better. Moreover, the placement and resistance of the focus dial on the Vortex made it just a little more awkward to use single-handed. Not a huge deal, but again subtle benefit to the Roxant. This of course is not even touching on the price. For $20-25 this is a fantastic piece of gear that I can just keep in my bag or belt without having to overthink it. The Roxant says it's waterproof, and it might be, but I haven't tested that. The Vortex makes the same claim, and build quality feels a little more reassuring, but the Roxant doesn't feel cheap and the truth is if it does get a little banged or beat up and I have to replace it, I can do that at least three times before matching the price of the Vortex... so yeah, great value. For what it's worth, the Celestron had perfectly acceptable optics and easy focus action as well. It's slightly less ergonomic (different traction and finger grooves), but by no means was it uncomfortable or difficult to use. Feels a little less rugged than the the Roxant though. For my purposes I went with Roxant, but if you like the Celestron better and are looking for a budget 10x25 mono I doubt you'll be disappointed. The ONLY critique I have, which isn't even that bad, is the case it comes with definitely does feel cheap. It's a very thin polyester rip-stop kind of material, compared to the Vortex which comes with a strong, beefy ballistic nylon case. With that said, for $22 I'm absolutely not complaining. If you do intend to have this on a belt or in a bag with things that can bump it maybe consider getting a different case; this one will get the job done though, just not super protective.

You get what you pay for
Overall it's okay, it works as stated in the description. However I wish we would have spent just a bit more money for a better quality one. This is not the easiest or cleanest to get to focus but for what it is it works okay. I would not buy another one.

Great handheld scope at a great price.
I already own a couple of the Roxant scopes but this one has quickly become my favorite. It looks really sexy with the textured grip and finger-molded shape, it feels solidly built and fits in the hand well which definitely helps with stability when using the scope. The size is in the "just right" range. Slightly bigger than the mini-monocular but smaller than the grip scope it's easy to fit in a jacket pocket or small bag. The size, along with the excellent optical quality that characterizes all of the Roxant scopes I have used, is one of it's primary strengths. While I primarily use the scope for observing the wildlife around my house I am continually finding new uses for it as I tend to keep it with me where I would have probably left a larger scope at home. Most recently I found it extremely useful in identifying and determining the extent of damage to the roof of a property I was considering purchasing. I've yet to test the durability of th scope under more rugged "field" conditions but at a price of just over $20 it's not a huge investment.

Compact, Lightweight, and great for short walks or casual bird watching
I purchased this monocular as something that would be small and lightweight that I could carry in my pocket to take on walks for bird watching. I had no issues focusing the scope at a variety of viewing distances between 20-100 feet. The quality of the viewing image is quite good for the price and it was able to handle some lower light conditions towards the end of the evening. The only negatives that I can really see with this scope are that the focusing knob is not as smooth as other binoculars/monoscopes I have used in the past and I could see situations where viewing objects very close or very far away not coming in as clear due to the focusing ability of the scope. The objective lens is also a little on the small side. Overall I was very impressed by the quality of this scope especially when considering the price point when compared to scopes with similar specifications and would recommend to anyone looking for something to take on casual walks.

Shipping fast. Quality very good for the price. Easy to use.
I think the ROXANT VIPER is awesome. It is easy to carry around because it fits into my pocket. Its very easy to use and has very good clarity. The reason i go the ROXANT VIPER is because i am registered severely sighted (blind). I have a bit of sight left and this is helping me to see things I never thought I could see. Its amazing. I have not stopped using it since i got it. The shipping was very fast. The quality is very good with the rubber outer casing and it feels good to hold. You can just tell it’s going last by the quality. I know that people that go walking and camping will use this but it can be used for so much more like people with severely sight impaired (blind) like me. I know this may sound corny but this has changed my life.

Great bang for your buck!
The item arrived the next day with my Prime membership. It was well packed and no damage or problems with that. I was shocked how small the actual scope was! But this was a good thing, it’s so easy to handle and operate. The grip and feel of it in your hands is very nice. It feels like a quality product, has some weight to it and all moving parts feel like they will last a long time. Very sturdy. For the price it is unbeatable, I searched for hours and it stood out a mile! 5*****
