I don't know how anyone grows flowers and plants without this stuff! It really is a miracle! If you haven't used this plant food before, BUY IT NOW! Seriously! The ads are true, it definitely grows, larger, fuller, healthier plants. It's a wonderful product for anyone trying to grow anything at all! I use this on all my potted and planted flowers and trees and it's wonderful. It's great with roses, succulents, vines like bougainvillea, everything! Let me give you a real life example here... I moved into this house with very neglected landscaping, so I immediately went out and bought about a dozen small white floribunda roses to line to front of the property. These were small 2 gallon nursery roses, so pretty much not even chi height when planted. There was also a sorely neglected bougainvillea planted near a back fence which was literally just a 2 foot tall stalk, no growth, no leaves, nothing! I watered these plants about once or twice a week, and feed them weekly, for the most part! Within a single year, the roses were 5 feet tall, the bougainvillea had grown to 8 feet and had spread about 12 feet across the back fence and was winding up over the top of it and creating a stunning display. Now, that may seem like a long time for a plant to grow, but considering the size of these plants at this point, it is impressive! These plants look like 5-10 year old plants in the span of a year. Basically one full gardening season! I will never not use this and can not imagine going without it now. This specific package is also more than enough to last you a year or two depending on how many plants you have and how often you feed. It's a wonderful, large amount for a very reasonable price, and the seal is tight so the food does not harden with moisture over time. It's perfect. Easy to use, easy to store, it should be in every home gardener's arsenal for sure!

I planted handful different seeds little over two years ago. Now, my peach got lots of beautiful flowers as you can see on a picture. It's about 58" tall now. And my lemon is 10 feet tall. My goodness, I really got surprised how fast it got growing. I only fed couple times a year. I've been using miracle grow for my trees in a garden too. They get very nice green color that I am very much pleased. It is excellent product, but I try not over feed to burn the roots, just right amount.

For whatever reason the big box stores in my area have stopped carrying this product. Instead they offer the liquid variety now which of course requires purchasing a hose attachment in addition to the fertilizer itself. I'm so happy Amazon is here and offers this excellent product which I have purchased for many years. I have several 32 gallon trash cans on mhy property that I keep water in. I simply put a quantity of this fertilizer in and it assimilates into the water almost immediately. From there I fill an empty plastic container with this liquid and pour it on various plants in my yard. It works amazingly well and requires reapplication every 2 or 3 weeks. I don't have grass so the liquid doesn't work for me plus it is shockingly expensive for what you get. Let's just hope that Miracle Gro hasn't developed some scam to give us less by discontinuing this product and charge us lots more by offering us far less. If they do then enter the competition. I will switch immediately.

My wife would give this 5 stars, but I'm writing the review! We've been seriously gardening for 40 years. While we have moved to organic fertilizer for our 15 varieties of fruit and citrus, and our grapes, my wife still uses Miracle Grow on her veggies. I hate mixing anything or having to fertilize frequently. But she loves the fact that she NEVER burns her plants with Miracle Gro, and she treats her veggies like children, hovering over them with a water can and talking to them. Were it a perfect world, we were not old and sickly, and we had lots of money, we would use a soluble liquid organic fertilizer. Our greatest use of fertilizer, per weight, is by far our fruit trees and the product goes on pretty heavily, so we feel better with organic in that application. We compost, so our garden soil is improving, and we've added a large amount of soil from the forest floor of the local mountains. Our yard having once been a citrus orchard for a century in an area of Central California hard-pan soil (think "hard as a cement in summer"), the soil is a challenge. The heavy use of chemicals by the former orchard owner really depleted it. Miracle-grow is inorganic, but the small quantity that is applied directly to the plant and root area limits the amount of inorganic going into the soil. We do not use pesticides, but have to use snail bait. Miracle-Gro gives us a mild product with controlled application and good results, as we try to be good stewards.

Been using 3 part formula for the root hormones coupled with organic fertilizer and bloom booster in the potting soil. This has created for great starts when putting in the full 3 months into bottom potting soil where the seeds sit themselves that enhances the time by decreasing the need to water the growing plants themselves. When the soil is moist with the 3 part forumla underneath as the seed emerges the plants sit themselves in two parts with the roots going into the formula soil while the outer top part sits on the more dry soil area that was placed on top of the seeds as they lay there. Use a combination of Scotts Miracle Gro 100645 Fast Root Hormone, Dr. Earth 707P Organic 8 Bud & Bloom Fertilizer in Poly Bag, 4-Pound, & MG LB Bloom Booster as the 3 part formula. Place the whole 3 month supply of the combined formula at the same time in the soil have been using Michigan Peat 1250 Baccto Premium Potting Soil, 50-Pound. Place the first part the bottom soil in the 5 Gallon White Bucket & Lid - Set of 3 - Durable 90 Mil All Purpose Pail - Food Grade - BPA Free Plastic - usually get 2 sets being a total of 6 buckets and put the seeds on the formula enhanced soil itself with the second part of soil the top soil they grow through. As the soil decreases in moisture the plants are already emerged out from the seeds leaving the remaining amount of liquid content there for the forming plants with the 3 months supply of the 3 part formula already there. Start the bucket garden inside about the last two to three weeks of winter during the start of early Spring. For the beginning part the growing seeds don't need a light source when they are still emerging from the shells themselves. So when the start of growth as the plant emerges with leaf alone use the Miracle-Gro 1001233 All Purpose Plant Food - 5 Pound for the bucket garden. Seeing about the 2nd month into early 3rd month the buckets with the growing seeds and formulated soils have gone almost dry. I live in the city. I have city dirt in my yard. The soil is not black like it should be. It is more of a tan. It has things in it: old rusty hinges, shards of glass, plastic straws. I remove them as they turn up. I have plants in this dirt. I have vegetable plants and I have flowering plants. Every spring I plan to buy loam or peat moss or good topsoil and spread it around to make better dirt. Then I think about hauling the heavy bags of loam or peat moss on an unwieldy store cart, loading the car, etc. And I buy nothing of the sort. Instead, every spring, I buy a box of Miracle Gro. I don't need a cart to hold it. The box is small and light. It generally does not have a hole in it like maybe that bag of manure that empties all over your back seat on the ride home. It does not cost a lot of money. It lasts all season. And it works. Follow the simple instructions and you will have lovely vegetables and beautiful flowers. I am a consistent user of this product for over 20 years of gardening. Miracle-Gro will boost your crop output by double digits in your garden. Additionally, I use it as a general fertilizer for all my blooming plants around the exterior of the home. Supplemented with specific fertilizers when recommended, citrus, evergreen and perennials grow denser and are less susceptible to inclement weather. I find that this is less expensive on Amazon than in my local garden centers. A nice plus. PS - I am not sure why "Flavor" came up as something to rate. I do NOT recommend tasting this - It is not intended for direct consumption!

At the end of June the country area I live got hit by a majorly bad hailstorm - almost 1" hailstones covered the ground everywhere like a midwinter blizzard had hit. I came home from work to find plant damages beyond belief - large-leaf'd plants like Rhubarb, Hostas, Comfrey looked like they'd been put thru a shredder, strawberry crop was gone with so many of the plants & runners just pounded to death, the tops of perennial flowers that were just starting to bloom sheered entirely off, small branches & flowerings of fruiting shrubs & small trees the same. I've never needed to use a plant food before, but knew they all needed something to help boost them all back to health again. The Miracle Grow arrived in just 2 days time, and has helped so much! It of course couldn't undo the shredded leaves, but the Hostas pulled through to even flowering, the Comfrey & all of the rest of the plants started growing new leaves and even putting out a whole new batch of flowers, and strawberries, bad as they looked, new runners! I give this product and it's quick delivery 5 stars for helping save what could've ended up being a total loss for this summer!!!!!
