OPI Nail Polish Removers – Acetone‑Free, Original & Expert Touch Removers

Works well, not destroying my nails, doesn’t smell that bad. Will buy again.

This is now my go to polish remover. I use a base coat and one coat of color. I use a cotton pad (vs cotton ball). Put the pad on the remover bottle and up-end once. Polish and base coat come off in ONE swipe. One cotton pad removes the polish for one whole hand without having to add more remover to the cotton pad. Nails don't feel dried out and it actually has a pleasant smell. Love this stuff!!

I actually called OPI and talked to a rep re remover. Problem I have is the one I was using (NOT OPI) was supposed to make nails look healthier. Um NO. It made my nails very dry and left white dots behind on some of the nails. The rep said this is the one she and many other OPI peeps use, so thought I would give it a try. PROS: DOESN'T FEEL as drying which is huge, including my CUTICLES, which I definitely don't need drier than they already are. DOESN'T seem to cause the white dots I was experiencing with other remover (maybe because the other remover was more drying?) REMOVES polish FAST and EASY. I just use a clear base (Seche) and I switch around clear top coats. Seche is always my base. So even though I don't use colored polish, I do use two base coats and two clear top coats. POLISH came off super fast without having to use a lot. CONS: TWO cons: This DOES smell like most acetone removers. I was hoping for a little better scent, but for the minute or two I use it, not a biggie. It's GREAT remover. Other con is I have received this twice, where cap came off, inner seal was compromised and the contents had leaked out all over the box. I STILL order this as it's the best I have found, particularly at this price point, but I wish OPI could have tops just more secure, screwed on tighter or something. AND A TIP: if you have really short nails, with just a bit of the white tip showing, and don't want the hassle of doing a French manicure, BEFORE you start doing your nails, take a little whitening toothpaste (I use Colgate OPTIC WHITE, because that's what I use on my teeth, but any should do), rub a bit behind each nail tip, let sit a few minutes and then rub with a soft toothbrush or even a paper towel or washcloth. Rinse well and then start doing your manicure. MAY take a week or so, but eventually it does help whiten your nail tips a bit without the STARK white of a French manicure and it's a WHOLE lot easier. For extra whitening, you can take a white eyeliner pencil and just rub it behand each nail tip. This really only works well for SHORT nails.

I typically use the cheapest generic brand of nail polish remover from the grocery store but decided to try this OPI nail polish remover as I wanted something that removed my nail polish quicker and with a better scent. While this nail polish remover is more expensive and the bottle is smaller than what I usually buy, I've been using it for about a month now and feel it is worth it. I now am able to remove my nail polish in half the time without getting chocked out by strong chemical fumes. I plan to continue purchasing this as it makes my manicures easier and quicker.

Came back after using half of it, very effective use very little quantity each time but it does have a unique smell.

Does what you’d expect and doesn’t stink too horribly.

It smells like candy or fruit. The bottle is small, but I already knew this. I didn't have any problems with it leaking (the sticker paper was still attached to the top), but it also was missing a couple tablespoons worth of liquid. I've had gel on for about a month since this pandemic. The shipping was so long since this wasn't an essential item I guess. The other gel polish remover on Amazon wasn't available. I tried wiping my gel polish off with this to just see if it works like magic. It's not, so I started getting disappointed since it seems like regular polish remover. So I took out the cottonballs and foil and soaked the nails for about 5 minutes. I could see the gel polish was getting wrinkly. It still doesn't just come off, you have to scrap it just like they do at the salons. I don't have those electric buffer things, so I was only able to scrap it off. It was pretty easy to scrap it off, but I still have some glue on my nails. This polish remover is better than dealing with uplifting gel on my nails and getting it stuck on everything. I might try to soak them again to get the glue off, or I'll just be lazy and wait for the remainder glue to grow out. So if you can't or won't go to the salon, you can use this. But expect to scrap and have excess glue left on the nails.

Is a bit more expensive than cheaper brands but works much better. I find I don't need as much to remove polish. OPI products are well worth the price

El mejor removedor de uñas y no es nada abrasivo. Me encanta porque con él me quito la laca de uñas semi permanente, ideal para quitar en una pasada los esmaltes de uñas rojos y oscuros clásicos también sin malgastar ni maltratar la uña. Pedirlo por esta plataforma que es comodísimo porque sale casi al mismo precio de otras tiendas y no tienes que salir de casa para tenerlo.
