KidKraft Nantucket Kid's Wooden Table & 4 Chairs Set with Wainscoting Detail, Pastel

OK, so I've only had it for a month, but I think its great! My 17-month-old can sit on the chairs (and loves to) but her feet don't touch the ground. This IS a great set for her, as she was hungering to sit like a "grown up"; she just loves exploring a chair that is sized for her. I think it will be even better for her when she's two and has a longer attention span to sit for a while and color and play with blocks. I had a 4-year-old over recently and she fits just fine, so I think this set will be useful until five or so. It went together easily: about half and hour and the tool is provided with the set. Seems sturdy: solid wood and no creaking when we sit in it (180 pound husband). Seems high quality: no paint chipping and washable crayon wipe right off. So far I would recommend this set: looks beautiful and really would fit it a mixed-gender playspace as it has a green and blue chair. Very happy with this purchase! UPDATE: Jan 2013. Still have set, still as attractive and useful as ever, for my now 3 and 1/2 year old and my new 17-month old! Had a 280-pound uncle sit on chairs (eeek!) but held up no problem. Still clean, colors have held up well. I think this will be around for a long time... still very happy!

I. Love. This. Table. I shopped around for a long time trying to find a table set that came with four chairs that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I have two daughters and they have several cousins around the same age. I wanted to make sure that more than just two people could sit at the table if need be. For the price I paid for this I could not be happier. The Nantucket style (bead board type pattern on the chair backs and along trim of table) is adorable and makes it look a lot more expensive than it was. The pastel colors are super cute for my girls and the set is nice enough to sit in my living room without being an eyesore. The chairs and table are sturdy. It's been over a year now and they are in fabulous shape and they get used every day. The table is insanely easy to clean. My daughters have colored on it with crayon, marker, and pencil, eaten food on it, stuck stickers to it, etc. I have had zero problems getting any of it off. Usually just a wet wipe will do it. For anything more stubborn, a magic eraser works wonders with little to no elbow grease. I highly recommend this product. My sister is getting it in the more primary colors for her children since she has a boy in the mix.

I adore this table and chair set! When I was putting it together I decided I wanted to mix up the colors a little. The bolts are colored to match each of the chairs in their respective colors but I decided to use the pink bolts for the green chair, etc. You could even mix up the colors for the seats or chair backs when you assemble it. It was pretty easy and quick to put together. Everything had a sticker label to to make it easy but I always hate taking all those little stickers off and scrubbing away the sticky residue. I had one piece of missing hardware because the hardware package came open in shipping but it was really quick and easy to call their customer service and it is on the way to my house. Overall I am happy with the price, quality and looks.

Packaging: When a "small" box came on the day I was expecting this, I thought they had forgotten half the order. Then I opened the box, and lo and behold, it is just packaged VERY well. Not a single piece had a dent in it, no breaks, no missing paint, everything was perfect! Assembly: I started to assemble with three overseers - a 4 year old, 2 year old, and a 10 month old. Each was insistent that /their/ chair get assembled first. It took me maybe 15 minutes for the first chair, and 5 minutes each chair, then 10 minutes for the table. 45ish minutes total. It was SO SIMPLE. And I LOVE that everything is made so that as it gets lose, I can just tighten it up again and it will be good as new. Use: They stole the chairs out of my hands as quickly as I could finish them. Running to show it off to everyone else in the room. Thankfully, this set arrived just in time for our traditional pre-Thanksgiving Thanksgiving dinner with the in-laws. We set 4 kids between the ages of 2 and 4 at the table with their cups, plates, silverware, and... assorted "friends" whose presence had been requested (mostly transformers, but there was a pinwheel too). It ALL fit. AND the kids were stoked to be sitting at a table just their size. Thankfully, there was no arguing over colors as it seemed they fell perfectly in line with everyone's favorites. Clean-up: There was jell-o. There was candied yams. There was turkey, and gravy, and stuffing and mashed potatoes. Dumped on the table. Squished. Finger painted. Left to dry because the "adults" weren't paying enough attention. By the time I got back from my enslavement in the kitchen, the table had been abandoned for greener pastures (pie!) and was looking pretty sad. I was terrified. But I grabbed a wipe and went to work. It CLEANED RIGHT OFF. No scrubbing. No crazy hands & knees attack of the table. Just wipe, and go. FANTASTIC! I LOVE this table. It's now in our kitchen to be used as an every day dinner table and project table.

We ordered this for our grand daughter for Christmas. She loves it - especially the pink chair and we have tea parties often. Haha It is a very solid table and chairs and beautifully made. It took a little bit of time to put together which my husband did but wasn’t too hard or frustrating. My only complaint is that there was a decent sized gouge out of one of the green chair legs and the table top had two small black marks I couldn’t get off. The packaging it came in was also a mess. Like I said, it is well made, solid and quite cute. I would probably buy it again, however, I was very disappointed with the gouge in the leg (kinda like someone took a bite out of it) especially when you can’t do anything to fix it.

Me gustó mucho y creo que lo compre a buen precio, tenía descuento del 30 por cierto. A mí bebé de un año le encantó, desde el primer día quería sentarse en las sillas pero no al cansaba hoy, con dos meses más logro sentarse solito. Yo me siento con el en las sillitas y son muy resistentes. Lo arme muy fácil y no necesite herramienta extra, viene con las que necesitas.

Esta muy bonita y súper fácil de armar. Se ve resistente al menos nosotros nos hemos sentado para acompañar en el juego y no se si entre frágil El único detalle a considerar es que al ser mesa blanca quedó manchada de pintura dactilar aún cuando limpiamos inmediatamente

En vivo mucho más lindo que en la foto!!!!! Muy resistente, de muy buena calidad y muy bien detalladas las instrucciones, fácil de armar!!!!! Nos encantó!!!!!!!

Solo considerar q máximo es pars niños hasta 5 años las sillas son muy pequeñas y la mesa también. Todo lo demas es hermosa y de calidad

Es un articulo lindo pero en efecto como había leído llega un poco maltratado y el armado requiere su tiempo. Es un buen producto, vale la pena comprarlo para los niños.
