Review: Notebook opens in wrong direction for writing Japanese vertically - The pros include good quality paper, large squares for beginning writers of Japanese. I can keep all my exercises in one place. The cons: because the journal is bound rather than a spiral, it can be hard to write on the back of a page since the notebook does not lie flat. Also, although when Japanese is written vertically, the order is right to left, the notebook opens left to right and the pages are numbered in a western order as well. Review: Four Stars - This is a good product, but the image at the front is kinda blurry and low quality.
