Difficult to find a better laptop near this price point
Having spent many hours reading reviews and specifications of laptops up to £250+ I bought the Fusion5 T90B +Pro based on its recommendations. Having set it up and used it for about a week, I have no hesitation in recommending it to anybody who is looking for a simple to use, easy to set-up laptop that all the family can use. My wife commented on the speed of searches and the solid feel of the keyboard and trackpad. I would also add that the display is excellent, both bright and clear. overall, the machine feels well made and solid, despite its slim design. It is also an ideal size for carrying around. As our family laptop its primary use will be browsing the net, shopping, receiving and sending emails etc. and after using it for all of these functions, I have no hesitation in recommending. I don't think you will find a better value laptop for under £200, and would struggle to find better value for money at a higher price-point. Les G

Good for the money!
The 14.1" Fusion% T90B+ Pro Model Lapbook seems great value for the money. Received it last week and it worked straight out of the box. The screen looks great, the mouse pad is nicely responsive (although I am not a fan of 'pads'), it is super light weight and even if the keyboard is a bit clunky and there is a 'cheap' feel to the overall package at this money I have no real complaint. The biggest downside is the size of the hard drive. It is a nice, quick, SSD but at 30 gig pre-installed Windows 10 takes up 90% of that space! I stripped out as much bloatware as I am able and also uninstalled the games and such like crap. Even so it did not make a great deal of difference but after installing Firefox browser and Libre Office all worked well and I still had 3 gig spare. Nevertheless periodically a warning window would 'slide in' stage right telling me I was down to my last few megabytes??!!?? However, there is a slot for an additional hard drive and so added a 240 gig SSD which worked like a charm. I hate Windows with a vengeance and am pleased to report that (with a little faffing) I was able to install Linux Mint 19 as a dual boot. I then had a headbanging couple of hours trying to get Linux to see the internal modem and on taking a break my partner suggested that if I was having problems then probably better to stick with Windows since the machine was destined for my granddaughter. I had to see the sense in that and so deferred to her judgement and uninstalled Linux. This meant that the 240g hard drive was set up as a data drive so at least there is no chance (?!?) of loosing data if the OS crashes - or worse. Didn't get time to check out the mic and camera. If you need to get into the Bios settings its F7 on startup but did not seem to recognise USB drives - had to get to them through Windows??!!?? So: Pros: Great value for money Works out of the box Great for homework, email, Netflicks, etc. Good screen Very lightweight Seems to be able to run Linux (Mint 19 - Tara) SD slot (micro) very handy Cons: Keyboard a bit clunky Cheap feel - but hey! look at what you get for the price! Hard drive way too small, particularly if using Windows OS. Problem with Bios seeing USB drives Couldn't get Linux to see the modem so if going that route may require an USB modem?

Couldn't ask for much more for an affordable laptop.
Firstly, the laptop arrived quickly and on time, packaged securely and arrived with informative warranty steps. As a student who needed a laptop for university essays and online reading, this laptop certainly did the job. It is extremely lightweight so can be transported easily, the speed is not an issue for the apps I need and while there are generally negative comments about the storage, a 64GB micro SD card quickly solves that plus the opportunity to add a hard drive if more space is really needed. I primarily use online storage for my files so all in all this laptop is perfect form my needs. Definitely recommend to those who need an affordable laptop for less demanding purposes.

Too good to be true. Literally.
I'm an English student, and I bought this just to read academic articles and write essays. Ordered around 11pm on a day towards the end of September 2018, and it arrived within 2 days, which was great. Easy to set up, although it ran a little slowly, but I didn't think too much of it. It's currently mid December. I have had the laptop for less than 3 months. The memory is pretty good for the price, but that's about it. It is already on it's last legs. I don't know exactly what I expected for less than £400, to be honest. You have to be sitting practically next to the modem to get decent wifi. The modem is at the bottom of the stairs, my office is at the top. When I sit at my desk I have 2 out of a possible 4 bars of wifi. Every time I disconnect from my network (something this laptop does a lot) the available wifi networks suddenly disappear until I turn it off and on again. The mouse is so sensitive I could have both hands on the keyboard and the mouse will still move to the middle of my previous sentence and I'll end up typing in a place I don't mean to. I've only touched it to turn it on and plug in the charger and there's a hairline crack over where the charger plugs into the device, plus I've had to ring and ask for a replacement charger already because the charger was so poorly made. And speaking of, the charge on the laptop lasts anywhere between 10 and 2 hours after being fully charged and can go from battery saver to critical battery mode in any amount of time from an hour to 5 minutes, when I am doing the exact same thing in both situations. Despite all this, I am still a student and was willing to put up with it in the name of saving money. But then tonight happened. For the last week or so the screen has been flickering in various places seemingly at random. No clue why. Tonight the entire thing flickered between functional and a plain black screen several times before the laptop shut itself down. I've lost my entire coursework plan plus 300 words of my actual coursework, 14 hours before the deadline. I feel the need to stress again at this point that I have had this laptop for less than three months, and only use it for uni related work. I managed to turn it back on after leaving it alone, plugged in for a solid 10 minutes, and once it came back on I immediately came here to write this, and the screen is literally flickering as I type. Do not buy this laptop.

Good Value. Good Quality. An excellent buy.
Bought to use primarily for document/spreadsheet/presentation working + email/web-surfing on the go. Don't use for gaming or video streaming so no view or rating for that. So far very impressed. Good display, easy to use (once one gets used to the quirky Trackpad). Some reviewers claim it's slow but we don't find this. For our needs it's perfectly fast enough and battery's fine. Connectivity is good and it's impressively light, slim and easy to transport. For the price it's outstanding value and, (after only 1 month use) we are very impressed.

Good laptop but some minor issues
I bought this laptop to get me through my masters year at university and I’m satisfied with the product, however not overjoyed. I have had a few issues with the laptop, especially the first time I purchased it. It was very slow and wouldn’t download Microsoft office from my uni’s software hub and really took a long time to set up. However, customer service were very helpful and kind and they would send me a new one for which they did and it was some what better. Although it was very difficult to enter the USB storage area which I purchased and the screws were in so tight I really struggled to get the panel out in hopes of not breaking my laptop. Furthermore, after having the laptop with the extra USB storage device for a few months now, the USB storage device can not be accessed due to a hardware issue with the storage device which I desperately need for my computer. But all in all, the computer runs okay, not very fast but gets the job done and have completed many pieces of work on it. For the price it’s a good laptop, however be aware that you may run into some small problems.

User friendly and cheap laptop
This is a great option if you’re looking for an easy to use, handy laptop. It’s not amazing for gaming as it doesn’t have a disc drive and doesn’t come with much memory space to download games, but it is great for browsing, streaming, and everyday simple needs. The least good thing about this laptop is it’s speakers - they’re really not good and do not produce a loud sound at all, even with earphones, so if you’re a bit hard of hearing then you might struggle with this. But I do like the screen, which looks nice and clear. I’m not a laptop expert so I don’t know all the spec and technical details, but I find this user friendly and enjoyable to use for a great price. Overall, pleased with my purchase.

Good all rounder moderately fast for the price.
This is a fairly good all rounder for the price The screen display is impressive. It is not super fast but fast enough as a family computer and is mainly being used for browsing and for the kids homework. You will need some extra disk space as it only comes with 32GB, however there are many cheap options to expand this to a reasonable amount. I have had this PC for a couple of weeks now and happy with it in terms of quality considering it is not really expensive. The right and left click buttons on the mouse-pad took little while to get used to (they are built into the pad and not separate as on my last laptop) but this was only a minor issue easily got over once you get a bit of practice. Overall good value for money as a general Laptop and pleased with the purchase as a whole.

Fast, Lightweight....GREAT!!!
This is a wonderful, small computer. I can take it everywhere. It is fast, easy to setup and use and comes with all the basics. The only thing I am just a little disappointed in is that it doesn't come with a touch screen. That aside, it's everything I could ask for in a small laptop. I have already set it up with a usb keyboard and mouse so I can use it like a desktop when I'm at home. I was even able to easily setup my 20 year old laser printer on it. It took me more time to figure out what Windows 10 wanted than to actually setup the printer. The only problem I seem to run into is that I use a keypad on my usb keyboard and I forget to shut it off when I move the laptop. I found the function+F10 a bit unwieldy to use to turn the numb lock on and off (prefer to do it on my other keyboard, but sometimes forget) and don't normally use the alternate keypad device on the computer keyboard as I have always found them somewhat difficult to use. Overall, a GREAT product!

Decent lappy for a great price!
This was the easiest and fastest to set up lappy/pc I have ever bought. It's fairly fast and runs my 1tb external drive with no problems. I use it for household book keeping and other similar tasks and it performs well. The price point on this lappy makes it a no brainer purchase. Good job Fusion!

Not 100% convinced I made a good purchase
It’s been 6 months since I bought this laptop. The laptop doesn’t even charge or turn on anymore! Couple hundred dollars in the trash. So upset!!! I was looking for a laptop to use every now and then for emails and browsing, please save yourself the hassle of loosing money on this laptop. Original Review 3/1/19***** I bought this laptop about 2 weeks ago and have been using daily. I've been using for internet browsing, videos and typing reports. * First off, the speakers on this laptop are HORRIBLE. *Mouse pad is so inconvenient, you have to press very hard in order to "click" on something. *Keyboard is unresponsive at times. At times I've clicked on a key and have gotten no response or have gotten a different letter on the screen. *Battery life is VERY low, might as well leave plugged in while using. *Pros- Screen quality is good and computer is not slow. Overall I think I should've of purchased a different laptop, I'm not very happy with this purchase.

Great little Laptop!
I have had this laptop for about a month now. I am kinda computer stupid, but this was an easy laptop to use. I would say that this is a great bag for the buck. It came on time and ready to use out of the box. I did have to update it right away, but for what I paid for it, who cares. It works great now. Good picture quality pretty fast processing for what it is. The only down fall is the touch pad it seriously sensitive. I've accidentally moved files around because of it. Just adjust the pad sensitivity and your all good.

Great price and very nice laptop…
I bought this for my sons birthday and he was able to use it right out of the box. It’s light and looks a lot like a Mac. He loves how eatit is to use. The size of the screen is fabulous not to big or small. I had my reservations about the product but gave it a chance and it was worth it.
