Cloud 9 Cumulus 11mm Thick Carpet Underlay Roll

I ordered 4 rolls of the Cloud 9 underlay and the delivery was very very quick indeed and cannot fault the service by 247floors. We needed an amount for my son's rooms at first and then if happy needed more for the lounge, stairs and landing. When in various carpet stores looking for carpet i was never happy with the underlay on offer or the price. It seemed vastly overpriced for a average product and lots were copies of Cloud 9 so checked out genuine Cloud 9. An underlay which the carpet stores sold as quality seemed to range from £7.99-£9.99 per m2. The Cloud 9 originally sold for £47 for 15m2 then rose to £51 for 15m2 both including delivery so an absolute bargain even at the higher price. The positives are ; thick at 11mm, so great and soft underfoot, really feels luxurious even on cheaper carpet ( only when you have it you will really see what i mean ) , excellent soundproofing, dulls out creaking floors and foot movement and sold with good insulation properties and i have to say the floors seem to warm up fast and the rooms are snug. There is a huge difference to the carpets i have purchased in the past with the waffle/foam underlay i was sold and the Cloud 9 i have now had laid. The only negative is , be prepared to plane / cut off some wood off the door bottoms to take the thickness of the Cloud 9 underlay

there are many choices of underlay to choose from. But My personal view, and recommendation is Cloud 9, from this seller. Not only was it excellent service, but the underlay its self was luxurious, to walk on after I fitted it. I live in a ground floor flat with stone floors, and normally you can feel the cold come through the carpet with normal underlay. But I couldn't feel any cold what so ever with this one. All I felt was warmth, luxurious feeling of cushioned comfort, I Hartley recommend Cloud 9 as all you will need in comfort from your underlay. Underlay as it should be! Pure Class on a roll.

Very thick, very cushy underlay. Great quality, easy to lay and work with. Literally just laid it down, cut it to size with a Stanley knife and sprayed carpet glue to the floor to secure it.Feels premium under the carpet. Will be ordering more for the other rooms.Amazing value, especially considering it's a fraction of the price of a chain store like Carpetright or SCS.The fellow from SCS even said it's better than the rubbish they use for a fraction of the price as well!. They will flog anything.

Excellent customer service from 247 floors/Wilson's who offered an upgrade when the cloud 9 I ordered could not be delivered for 4 days. As I wanted.cloud 9, as this is a product I was familiar with I declined. My order arrived as promised and I was very pleased with the quality. An excellent springy underlay with a saving of nearly half the cost of what the carpet shop were charging me. Top tip, don't buy your underlay from the major carpet stores who clearly place a huge mark up on this item.

Cloud 9 last for years, I used it in the lounge 10 years ago and just replaced the carpet and the underlay is still like new-full of bounce (11mm). I have upgraded each room as I go to this product. Other “similar” products don’t have this lifespan. Great value

Any study of carpets reveals the importance of underlay for increased durability. I used Cloud 9 12mm under two hand knotted rugs one 3.2m x 2. 6 the other 1.8x 2.6leaving borders of 5cm to allow the carpets to have a lower profile around the edges. This reduces the chance of tripping over the edge and improves the appearance.I purchased Could 9 after research and recommendation by a carpet trade neighbour ( already in use under a hall runner ) for noise reduction and heat retention on Victorian sanded floorboards. The underfoot comfort is second to none. For thicker and or larger fitted carpets 9mm is good enough.

Thsi is brilliant underlay, so glad I did my research on underlays, otherwise had I ordered underlay from the carpet shop I would have paid more than double for an underlay that was not equal quality to this. Would not hesitate in recommending you buy this, feels lovely and bouncy underfoot.
