Comparing the smoothness before application and after is night and day, even on newer reels. This is great reel oil. I have used it now on dozens of reels. The only problem is that the metal stem will pull out of the bottle when removing the cap. Needs a little better design or perhaps mine is defective.

Lucas products are usually pretty good. This reel oil is no exception. It’s thin enough to get down in there but lasts pretty well. One bottle goes a long ways too and will last a while. I definitely would recommend it and will order more when mine runs out. Good buy!
