Simply awesome. GET IT! PS: I have used it on my glass shower doors and it removed hard water and soap buildup. It works on glass dishware without harming or scratching. It also works fantastic on stainless steel Farberware cookware.

I spent most of my working life in commercial kitchens, starting as utility staff (dishwasher) and working through the ranks to having became an Assistant Manager. In my dishwasher days, in the first restaurant I ever worked in, after several months of dish washing, I guess I impressed my store's manager because he brought me in a square of chainmail to use when scrubbing pots, pans, and baking sheets. I remember it worked extremely well and I had tried off and on for many years to find some for home use. Now I have some! Having a lot of cast iron cookware, this 'scrubber' is a true blessing to me. It removes baked on foods better than ANY brand of steel wool soap pad, or even the shredded steel stuff in most commercial dish areas, and it doesn't scratch/scar the surface of your cookware. I now use this religiously every time I wash any cast iron - even if scouring is not needed. I also use it on my stainless steel and aluminum cookware with equally great results. True, there are some things that this cannot scrub as well as soap pads can - it's not designed to be the 'scrub everything' modern wonder of the world - but for daily scrubbing, if you haven't tried it, you really should! It's safer to use and lasts a lot longer than soap pads. The biggest plus in my opinion for using chainmail (like this item) for scouring food utensils/cookware is that the food residue doesn't get trapped in it, virtually eliminating any chance for mold growth. Another big plus to me is that this doesn't rust and will last for a long, long, time. We all know spun steel wool soap pads rust immediately after first use, shrink to almost nothing in a very short time, and they retain food residue which will decay in the steel wool pad. Steel wool pads also often give slivers in fingers/hand, which is not only painful at times, but dangerous to our health because of the bacteria growing on the decaying food trapped in the steel wool - a great way to get an infection. I'm VERY happy with this product. It's a nice size to use and with a bigger ring at the corner, it's easy to hang up when not in use. BOTTOM LINE: This should be used by everyone who washes dishes. (It may take you a few times to get accustomed to the feel of it, but it doesn't stab you with shreds of steel and will always be the same size.) For what it's worth: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ITEM

Had this for a few years and I would highly recommend it. GF's mother visited from India and she really loved it so I bought one more for her. And if it gets dirty, it cleans up nulice in the dishwasher since there is not much to it.

I thought, nahh this couldn't work. Then I saw another reviewer singing it's praises. Still I was skeptical, a piece of knight's underwear and no soap, how could it possibly work? Finally and on impulse I decided to buy it. Holy cow! If you have raw cast iron cookware then this thing is an absolute must have. Baked on eggs? No problem! Gone within seconds. This particular version of these scourers is well made and I believe it will go strong for years to come. Get it.

This is a must have for anyone with cast iron! These work great for cleaning all your cast iron pans! Gets all the grime off with just a little water and elbow grease.

This is all you need to clean cast iron. No soap. No brush. Just this and a little elbow grease. Followed up by a low heat dry on the stove. Then a little bit of oil rubbed in.

great cleaning the inside of carboys. Just use soapy water with the scrubber in the bottle and swirl around. works great.

I use this every time I have to clean my cast iron pan and it’s great at removing food residue. I use a tiny little drop of dish soap, hot water, and this and it gets clean every time. I also found that it helped to smooth the slightly rough surface on my pan (it’s a cheaper cast iron) so food sticks less. When the scrubber gets a bit dingy I just put it in the dishwasher. Would recommend.

This scrubber is amazing! It cleans my cast iron Dutch oven and frying pan effortlessly when I have anything that’s stuck on- like eggs. It hasn’t stripped the seasoning at all- I’ve been using it for a few months- The stainless steel quality feels durable and strong, and it’s the perfect size to grip comfortably.

Ça a bien nettoyé la poêle en fonte et celle en acier de carbone. Il faut savoir que cela prend un peu de force et qu'il faut frotter longtemps. Les chaînes sont très larges, ça a tendances a griffer un peu le fond des poêles, je ne pense pas que ce soit un gros problème et que ça enlève le culotage. Mais a choisir, je prendrais une chaîne avec des mailles plus petites.

Excellent value for a cleaning tool that will basically last forever under normal and abnormal use! Truly abrasive and yet kind to cast iron surfaces! Wish I had tried this sooner! Highly recommended as this model is priced appropriately and is truly well made!
