Eviant T4 4.3" Portable Color Digital ATSC NTSC LCD TV DTV

Was kind of unsure of how the t.v. would work, and if I could get the darn thing to operated. I had ordered a portable color t.v. from one of the t.v. shopping networks, and I never could get the darn thing to work, so I had to send it back. Thought I might have the same issue. NOT! I can't believe the ease of operation and how quickly I got channels, the clarity, color and tuning was wonderful. I got it for power out emergencies, but now that this t.v. is as clear as my satellite t.v. pictures, I plan on taking it with me in my car, and using it when I'm away from home. This is a wonderful t.v. and the price was great too! I might buy another one for my grandchildren! I'm going to re-put it on my Wish List so I don't forget it! Fabulous t.v.!

After reading negative comments about the sound on this set I was not sure if I wanted to take a chance on it or not. Now I am glad that I did. I find the sound very strong and clear. The only problem you may have is if you laid the set down flat instead of using the pull out stand because the speakers are on the back of the set. Or if the reception on a channel is bad. You will get better reception with the external antenna than the built in one. As others have said you can not go walking around with this tv because you will loss the signal. The picture quality is just as good a a regular tv. And the price is a positive.

I bought this Eviant product so I could have a portable digital TV I could move around for watching sports. Well, the screen is pretty small - and without a remote, it is tedious to change channels. I should have researched these features more, and that is my fault. But that is not my real complaint. The "on/off" switch started become unreliable within the warranty period. It has a pretty "loose" feeling and when I move to "on" position, it would not always turn on. I would need to retry repeatedly, but never a reliable solution. So I went to the Eviant online warranty site and followed their instructions and received a robo response that said I would hear back shortly. Well after 3 emails and follow up - no response - nothing - nano. Now I have a paperweight that is a too small non working Eviant piece of ****. Do not buy from Eviant - mostly because they have no customer relations department or morals. R Wagner

I purchased this as a replacement for an analog tv for my bathroom. It took me what seemed forever to get it working. Although the picture is really good, the sound is very tinny. I need to keep it in one spot because if I move it the picture gets digital (squares) and I lose the sound. I am only fairly happy with it. I was going to return it but decided against it when I finally got it working. If I were you I would look for a different brand. Plus the customer service is only on line and not very helpful.

For a person who wants a small HDTV on the go this is for you. There is little competition in this field so there is not much of a selection. Nicely made unit, controls easy to understand. Unit is small enough to carry in a pants pocket or medium sized purse. Picture is fine sharp and bright though a little small is easy to view. No external power just rechargeable battery. Expect about three hours of continuous use or one average prime-time night. One drawback is speaker. Volume is only average and sound quality could be improved but you can buy an external speaker and connect it via the headphone jack. If you travel a lot this unit is fine to pack inside a briefcase. Much better than old Sony Watchman. Much better screen size, reception and color. Not good for overseas since this unit only receives NTSC not PAL or SECAM scans. Overall, good unit but would not pay more than $65.

I returned this item, due to a weak signal on this portable TV. I even purchased a separate antenna, which did not help very much.

I have to say that I am more than impressed with this little TV. On a whim, I bought it because I always get scheduled on Sunday (Football Day). My only expectation was for it to pick up Fox for football games, but when I auto-tuned it I was surprised to find that it picked up all CBS, ABC, FOX, and public access channels available in the area. Not only is it conveniently rechargeable through micro USB (Almost everything) it has a clear digital picture that comes in better than basic cable or satellite. It comes with an additional antenna as well as a wall charger and a car charger. Another helpful feature is the built-in adjustable stand. Recently, the TV was stolen (not a joke) out of my car and I won't think twice about getting this one again, nor will I leave my car unlocked anymore. I just wish I could buy guns on Amazon... oh well hope this was somewhat informative.

This TV might be small in size but the quality of the picture and the reception is as good as any cable connection that I seen. I was amazed at the number of channels that it locked on when I set the tv up. I would buy another if something happens to this thats for sure
