If this isn't an airless pump, doesn't that mean that air is pushed down into the bottle when pumped? Isn't that bad for vit C potency and expiration

No, this is not an airless pump. This is a regular pump dispenser applicator and this is the exact same reason we are using pump applicator over dropper to avoid direct contact with air in between each application and keep serum effective. As long as you do not open pump (head) between each application product will not oxidize.

Does this product help with dark circles under the eyes?

I don't have dark circles, but I have older eyes. I love this stuff! Use it every night then my regular moisturizer on top. Really can tell a difference in the last month that I have been using.
