I have extremely hard water, so I use one of these packs of Malibu C Hard Water Wellness Hair Remedies before a color treatment every couple of months. It removes all of the buildup and refreshes my hair. My hair is always shiny, soft and super healthy afterwards. I have medium length, thick hair and one pack is enough per treatment.

These work so well and are good for travel with packet size. The one star loss I have is the smell from activating the crystals. It reminds me of the smell of pennys

I first bought this randomly after bleaching my hair. Didn't expect to LOVE it or to keep using it even after the alternative hair phase ended, but here we are! I have repurchased the Malibu C Hard Water Wellness Hair Remedy several times now. How does it make my hair easier to detangle while wet? How does it make my hair soft when it isn't even a conditioner?! If you are even questioning if you have hard water then give this a try.

If you have demi-permanant dye in your hair or toner, and did not use this product right before your salon visit, do not use this product until right before you go back to the salon. On the other hand, if you want to strip your color, do use this product. I went to the salon 8 days prior to using this. I did my research first. I'm actually a bit obsessive about researching so it prolongs purchasing things. I've wanted to use a clarifier for a while, since I learned about them, because I have very hard well water. This one was the winner for me. My hair is primarily bleached, with root growth of about 5 months that I get highlighted regularly to blend. Then it gets toned to different shades, depending on what I'm going for. This product, on one hand is amazing. My hair has never felt so clean. My natural hair that has grown in since fully bleaching my hair was shiny, smooth, and beautiful. What I wasn't expecting was for the rest of my hair to be completely stripped back to the bleach only. It went from a creamy chocolate (stunning blonde; I highly recommend trying that color toner) to a super light, summer blonde. After reaching out to malibu c on their Facebook page, they informed me that if I didn't use this treatment on my hair prior to getting it done, the color would sit on the mineral buildup and therefore come off with it. I greatly appreciate their feedback and learning this. I asked if they would consider putting this information in their directions or product description. They did not respond. So, while I don't leave long reviews typically, I'd like others who research products to be able to take into consideration there is a time to use Malibu C hardwater treatment, and it is not after going to the salon and paying for the hair you want, it is before. I will continue to use this product because it is amazing, albeit at the right time. I gave it 3 stars for the misleading information which caused me to wash $$$ down the drain but the treatment itself is 5 stars.

Works really well. It improved the color of my gray hair and removed some of the orange streaks, however, I will need to repeat a few times to restore my hair to it's beautiful creamy silver color. It left my hair soft and shiny. Seems to be gentle for my very fine delicate hair.

Ne correspond pas à ma commande et quantité MINUSCULE!! : j'ai commandé le Malibu C Hard Water avec la mention "élimine les minéraux pour purifier les cheveux" comme indiqué sur les photos car mon eau est très calcaire, or j'ai reçu celui-ci: "élimine la décoloration et restaure le volume et le lustre éclatant"! (voir photo) mes cheveux ne sont même pas décolorés. De plus l'emballage est MINUSCULE, il tient dans la paume d'une main d'enfant de 3 ans sans dépasser!! (la taille de l'emballage fait environ 5cmx7cm pas plus donc ridicule pour le prix!)
