Darn good and great value. Just what I look for. Haven't been able to find on Amazon lately so switched to Walmart at a slightly higher price, to bad.

Simply put this is most places in my hometown use with the biscuits & gravy. One place even sells it in the exact can, for about 10 dollars more. Good stuff! I'd say it was like what grams use to make but nope this is better. Also do ne shy about documenting it up!

Sooo good like at the restaurants. I heat some up for my biscuits and sausage Pattie’s each morning and freeze the rest in storage bags for later use. Awesome price for a delicious restaurant style taste

I was surprised how tasty this is…I portioned into half cup containers and put them in the freezer.

This sausage gravy is great. Rich and thickly creamy with a distinct sausage taste. Firm but tender chunks of sausage, great over sausage, toast or biscuits. I put about a cup of grease off of cooked hot sausage in a gallon and adds a little “pop” to the flavor. However it is great gravy straight out of the can. We use this at church, for the monthly Men’s ministry breakfast.,It seems to be a big hit with everyone.

Our family loves biscuits and gravy meals...and not just for breakfasts! I read all the reviews before ordering and was surprised that this brand is the same used by many restaurants or dinners. The first time we ordered, the cans were dented pretty badly during shipping. This is a common complaint from customers but that would appear to be Amazon's error for lack of shipping material and not from Chef-Mate's quality of food so I cannot or won't reduce stars plus the cans were replaced with non-dented ones the following week. Now this #10 can is gigantic and per other reviewers, would spoil quickly. We resolved this by dividing the can upon opening into food storage bags that we then vacuum seal to freeze for later consumption using our chamber vacuum sealer from Avid Armor. No spoilage issues at all!!! Lastly and most importantly is the flavor! It takes just like Grandma would make on those weekend mornings to feed the crew. Add an egg and some juice and you have down-home comfort food that will leave you full for a while. The gravy is creamy and includes small pieces of sausage (even though I usually add a little extra when I reheat). Heating or reheating leftovers is a breeze, but I will agree that unless you are planning on using the whole can immediately, figure out another method of storage because it would be a shame to waste this yumminess!

Absolutely great gravy at an even greater price. This is perfect for Biscuits and gravy, as well as many other uses. Get yourself a good heavy duty can opener to make life easier for you to open these bad boys.
