For dental point of view , it is good and appreciatable. For others one required lead protection even in the top of the head. Myself as a dental surgeon, it is beneficial and everybody should wear who takes radiation during root canal treatment or even iopa x ray.

It is a lead headband with plastic on top of head and not a lead head cap
It is a lead headband with plastic for top of head and not a lead head cap. In other words it contains lead In a band shaped form . Top of head is not protected from radiation as it contains only a plastic sheet.
