Flexcut - if you’re gonna carve, it’s worth the premium
Being fairly new to carving, I didn’t know what to get - the set of six for $45, and or one for $30. I’m going to make this short. Buy the one for $30. It’s a razor that moonlights as a whittling knife. Not that there’s anything wrong with six for $45, they’re fine. But when you’re cutting a fine spot with expensive wood, you want to cut where you want it - not half an inch lower because you put too much pressure on the blade, and now you have miniature firewood that will keep you warm at your psychiatrists office, while you recount how after 3 hours of carving, you managed to ruin your piece in 3/10ths of a second. So, if you thrive on frustration, and love a challenge, get the six for $45 knives. Also, remember those Vikings season tickets are also on sale. Otherwise, save your money and buy a really good Flexcut knife that helps you cut, without the aggravation. I have six now, and they are worth every penny. And don’t let my simple carving throw you off - I’m just too lazy to get one of my fancier pieces for the picture.

Great little knife
I bought this for my boyfriend who carves. He has commented several times how much he loves it. It has become one of his favorite go-to knives for projects.

Like most flexcut wood carving tools, this one is well made and sharp.
Surprisingly comfy handle. Blade came very sharp. Cuts as well as most on basswood. Good size blade. Would recommend. I’d like to get their sloyd knives but are too costly. Got the Swedish 120/106 instead.

Good, but will need to be sharpened
Had to be sharpened when unpacked as it wasn't quite sharp enough "out of the box", but once a good edge was put on, it did the job well.
