DIY Wooden Dollhouse Kit - Rose Garden Tea House

If you like making things and crafting. Then these are for you. It's amazing how they turn out. I find it relaxing. Although some bits are small and fiddly. It's a hobby that can't be rushed.

Beautiful model kit and all materials are included. However, no tools or glue is included, which was a bit disappointing, so I would recommend getting a decent tool kit together : good scissors, tweezers, steel ruler, a good craft glue and pliers. I’m lucky in that I have a jewellery making kit already and these tools are perfect for this construction .This is my second kit and I love it. It can be fiddly and looks scary, but following the instructions item by item and in the order in which they appear, it’s actually relatively easy, just take your time.It’s all-absorbing and keeps me out of mischief for hours.

I gave this to my crafty 9 Yr old to do by herself- it is not as perfect as it would have been with adult input but she is so proud of herself. I would really recommend this as a gift for older children.

This diy miniature house was very frustrating to build but the results are beautiful and make up for the difficulties I encountered.Some of the instructions were difficult to follow and there were parts (like putting the roof on and fitting the wire door hinges) that I found incredibly difficult.It hasn’t put me off doing these in the future but I’m not sure I would be able to say that if this was my first project.I found double sided tape very useful and I used a clear quick drying glue and gorilla superglue.The cakes and other items that are included are great quality and very realistic.

I wanted to try this build because I thought it would be a nice change to the "house" builds I'm enjoying .. boy, was I wrong! ..Problems SO FAR:1. Caravan body arrives built up, which is a disappointment as that would be a major part of the fun of it2. Upon making one of the first things, the skylight window, parts A16 of which there should've been 2, was supplied short - i.e there was 1 of the right size and the other was a cm or so short! But I soldiered on and made and painted my own replacement part.3. Almost everything didn't fit AT ALL until sanded or filed, ie every window, door etc. Only the skylight window fitted first time.4. The item is fully painted so sanding and filing so much dislodges the paint and so considerable touch-ups are needed - just hope I can find the right colours of paint!5. No fitting instructions for the door, just a photo with it in place!6. The door's window didn't fit and that was mentioned in the instructions, but by cutting the part as instructed, it weakened it and so the door snapped! I had to make a new one from scratch.7. Interestingly you have a template to cut out a shape of fabric (C7-3) to then have another template to have to cut out for the actual item you're building. So templates are needed for the template!8. The instructions and translation thereof leave a lot to be desired.9. I really wish I'd avoided purchasing the item and I don't know if I want to continue with it at the moment as so much is an issue already.10. I WOULD NOT PURCHASE ANY OTHER ITEM FROM THIS MANUFACTURER.

A little disappointed. Bought for my aunt as a gift. As she's gone through making it, she's noticed bits are missing. No outdoor sofa or top shelf of dresser, plus missing door handles. Also, there are no stickers, everything has to be cut out and glued.

Love building these. That my favourite hobby now. Instructions were clear and plentiful materials to spare❤️

I absolutely loved doing this, it was very time consuming and fiddly at times but the end result was amazing. My only problems were that the doors and Windows didn’t fit so I had to sand them and the material was sparse and I ran out at one point. The instructions take a bit of getting used too but overall it was very enjoyable, great value for money and it arrived really quickly.

Vraiment très agréable à monter, permet un peu de créativité et de construire un joli univers rétro. J’ai beaucoup aimé.A noter quand même : notice de montage vraiment plus que succincte, fils pour l’éclairage trop courts (j’ai du les changer).
