Removal challenging - installs easy and looks great after install
Great fit just like the original. Left (passenger) power fixture on 2008 Touareg a challenge to remove because the fixture is mounted with very little room to reach the locking bar with a hook (like a small screwdriver with the tip bent in an “L” shape) that you pull toward you to release the power fixture. HINT: If you loosen the complete housing as though removing it (plenty of online DIY videos) you can get better access to the power fixture release as if opens up more space. The right (driver) side has easy access to release fixture so start with right side so that you can see how the release works without breaking it.

Glad i purchased
I purchased both the right and left side. Great price. My old assembly lens were dark and worn, which made my Touareg look old. I tried using the lens cleaners, and it just made it worse. Just by replacing this, made my vehicle look much newer. Also, the headlight is now bright again. Wish I purchased these sooner.

Connection not compatible!
Great fit and look but when I installed it and connected lights did not come on. I then looked at the connection points and the pins did not match the original lighting fixture pins...
