Evolve Organic Beauty Natural Radiant Glow 2-in-1 Mask Scrub (60ml)

This Evolve Face Mask is a treat! It smells wonderfully of chocolate. It feels rich on the skin, rinses off easily and doesn’t dry out your skin. It has excellent, natural and organic ingredients. And it is fun to use. The only “negative” thing I have to say about it is that the coconut shell particles that are supposed to “polish” your skin, are a little too sharp and rough. I love exfoliating my skin, but I felt like I was scratching my skin, no matter how gently I worked it with my fingertips. I am very conscious of the impact scrubs can have on the environment, so Evolve gets bonus points for using a natural material that will biodegrade. I just wish it was more pulverized. It would still do a great job of “polishing”, but would be less harsh on the skin. For a mask with such a great list of ingredients, I feel like this is a solid value. And it is worth it just to enjoy the mask without the polishing part. But I did knock one star off because I think the coconut shell particles are simply too abrasive.

This mask smells and looks like chocolate. It reminds me of Tootsie Rolls. I rubbed on a thin layer and then soaked in a bath for a few minutes. Before washing off the mask, I rubbed in the mask to get some exfoliation action before washing it off. I love that the mask was both hydrating and gave my skin a gentle exfoliation. My skin did feel a bit dry but, not tight after washing off the mask. I followed up with lotion for radiant skin.

I had some mixed feelings about this face mask. What I liked: - It definitely has some abrasive components that smooth the skin - my skin looked very smooth after rinsing. - The instructions are easy to follow (apply to clean skin, leave 5 minutes, rinse) What I did not like so much: - The smell - it has cacao, so I shouldn't be so surprised it smells like brownie batter, but it was a pretty strong chocolate smell, and I am not sure how I feel about sitting with that smell on my face. I ended up fully washing with soap after removal as it was a bit much for me. - It is really tough to apply to skin. It feels like a thick slime that does not want to adhere to skin, so it was tough to get any kind of even application. - You have to use a lot to cover the face. The jar only lasts about 4-5 uses if you cover your face in it each time. - It is really abrasive when removing. It hurt a bit as I was rinsing, as it is super-full of exfoliating/abrasive components. - It has a pretty not great dark brown color that looked like (you insert item here), which was not fun to sit around in. - It was really tough to rinse off and took a lot of effort to get off the face once it was on. It also left little black spots behind, so I needed to go over it again to rinse off all the exfoliating components, and my sink looked pretty rough after using. I would give it a middling rating, because it did really make my skin look so smooth, but I was not a fan overall for the reasons listed above.

Evolve Organic Beauty Natural Radiant Glow Face Mask... 📚 Simple and clean packaging is simply elegant. This is a small Amber Amber glass jar with a screw top lid. 📚 This mask smells amazing!! It's deep Brown and color, almost chocolate or coffee like, and has a bit of a grit to it. 📚 So easy to use, just massage into your face and let's set for about 5 minutes, rinse off. This provides a nice mild exfoliation and leaves my skin feeling it energized, moisturized, and smooth. 📚 Natural, vegan and organic, love this! 📚 Summary… what a nice product, the best things do come in small packages! A little goes a long way, it's easy and quick to use and leaves my skin feeling so nice. And I did mention that smell, right?! Amazing! I'll be looking for other products from this company👍👍

Omg thus smells so good! It smells like fudge cake, so decadent! I really like the natural, clean ingredients in everything I've tried from this brand. The only ingredient I don't really like is the coconut shell powder because I can't use physical exfoliants too often due to having sensitized skin from prescription tretinoin. For occasional use (i.e. before an event when I want to get rid of flaky peeling skin FAST), this isn't irritating. The GOOD thing about the coconut shell powder is that it does NOT cause micro-tears like other exfoliants do (I'm looking at you, Crushed Walnut Shells!). If you don't have sensitive skin (always do a patch test first), you'll be able to use this more often. As for me, I'll be relishing those days I get to use this, and enjoying the soft, smooth skin!
