Great set of Calligraphy Nibs
This assortment gives you a variety of nibs that covers just about everything you want to do in calligraphy and a lot in graphic arts. As with any basic set it covers essentials but not the frills. It can't do everything which is why they make other nibs, of course. If you need fine lines then get another set. Holders are not included so bring your own or buy a set including one. But this is a great set to cover most of the A, B, C's of calligraphy nibs.

WITH THESE NIBS, I SHALL WRITE!
I have always wanted to get into calligraphy, and, with these wonderful, inexpensive pens and nibs make it so easy, plus, being a Prime member means I get 'Em in 2 days! I have to get all my inks, cleaners, and papers so I can create one of the world's most beautiful poetry books ever produced. With these nibs, the words will look as beautiful as they sound!

Good Set for the Beginner
I wanted to get into calligraphy so I got this set along with Learn Calligraphy by Margaret Shepherd and some blue Waterman ink. Being a novice, I can't go too in depth, but so far I really like this set. There's a great variety of nibs for different purposes. I found some of the nibs to be, I guess you could call it "scratchy". These would pick up fibers from the paper, making the writing a bit fuzzy as well as the page. Granted this is a two dollar grid notebook I got merely for practice. Nonetheless, these nibs serve their purpose and I'm happy with my purchase. Maybe further down the road I'll invest in some Brause, but for now these are great. I especially like the A5 nib, it's definitely one of the smoothest.

Great for trying multiple nibs
I have become a Speedball fan. I really like the products they produce, and these nibs are no exception. I got the assortment to try out some of the nibs I hadn't tried yet, and it was cheaper to buy the set than to buy them individually. I have since tried all of them and they perform very well. Of course I do have my favorites compared to others, but it's a good chance to try several of them at once.
