Pop Secret Popcorn, Sweet 'n Crunchy Caramel, Microwave Bags 3 Count Box

Popcorn connoisseur here I'm a give you guys the realest review not to detailed but hit on why 5 stars. Funny, the reasons I have it at 5 are not for the reasons everyone else that bought this product did. Ok, review time: 1st, no cons for me because I'm real. I've read other comments and reviews on here and if you actually think that you can duplicate tin can caramel popcorn in your microwave you're funny. Cmon guys just like popcorn at the movies you may be able to come super close but it'll never be the same. Microwave time: My bag of popcorn took about 2min. 40 sec. I started out at 2 min., but as time winded down, the bag was still popping like crazy so I just hit the +30 sec button. Had to do that twice. Your microwave may be faster; just don't be silly and use the popcorn button. Like ever. again. in. your. life. Stay in the kitchen and listen for about a 3 sec delay between pops (And I mean a SOLID 3 seconds) before you pull the bag out the microwave. As far as eating this stuff, I waited the amount of time I do for regular microwave popcorn; didnt wait like you should for the best coating taste, but seriously it smelled so good, I was excited and I'm a greedy dude so I went in early and it was delicious my friends. Someone posted that it's more delicious the cooler it gets and YES this is true! I cleaned up my kitchen and went back to it and went it cooled? Mmmmmmm... Taste: Yum although keeping it a buck it isn't tin can status but it is really good to come out of a microwave. Imagine a popcorn between kettle corn and caramel tin can popcorn. It's little sweeter than KK but not quite as sweet as tin can caramel PC. Sooo good mmm. Unopened kernels: Some reviewers had a lot leftover, I didnt. It was the standard amount. Look guys, this is caramel popcorn not reg. popcorn. It's new tech, so don't be cocky about this situation. Follow instructions. LISTEN for the pops. Stay in the kitchen. Things you should be doing anyway to ensure a top tier pop. You're never ever gonna get all the kernels or even have like 5 left EVER and trying to do so will just burn the good stuff in the bag. Pro tip: Before you pop ANY popcorn in the wave, massage the kernels in the bag TOWARDS THE SAUCE (GENTLE enough tho so that you don't break the bag) so that your popcorn oil, caramel sauce, etc. or whatever is evenly distributed. It works trust me.. **These are the snack size bags btw not the standard ones. They are slightly smaller. If you're making this stuff for more than one person, you may want to pop 2 or 3 bags and also order a larger capacity box... In closing, I will say I would definitely buy this again. Pop Secret strikes again! It suits my tastes, was inexpensive and easy to make. YUM!!! Go for it!!!!

This is hard to find in a grocery store but years ago, you could find them there. My husband loves caramel corn and this is quick and easy and gooey and yummy! You do have to watch the time in the microwave as it can burn easily. As soon as the popping slows down, take the bag out.

Nope. Such a promising concept, didn't deliver. The sugar made the popcorn burn. Almost everytime. Even if I adjusted timing or stood there to make sure I listened. And if you somewhat burn it, with that black lump in the middle of the bag, you can attempt and/or force yourself to eat the rest as not to waste food, but the burnt flavor permanates every kernel in the bag making you sad and full of regret. I think I successfully manage to not burn like a bag or two. However, then you have the problem of unpopped kernals which is a waste. Likewise, the flavor is not great. Edible enough though. I made and ate/burnt every bag. Absolutely will not buy again. And I will actively rant and rave and steer others away from this product. Trust, me, don't buy. Stick to prepopped caramel popcorn and/or microwave kettle kernal bags.

The perfect personal size bag, and filled with a sweet buttery crunch...

The flavor is pretty nice. The size for one is about perfect. Don't get caught up in the calorie count. Be careful pouring the contents in to a bowl. The coating is not messing around with it's burning. But, it'll only take once (or this review) to not burn yourself again. Lol. The texture is nice unless your expecting a hard candy coating.

I have been having with trying to microwave the caramel popcorn. The caramel is all sticking to one side of the bag and is burning all of it before the rest is totally popped. Have had 3 packages like that. I love it and have ordered quite a bit, but this just started and I don't want to order more if I have to keep throwing it away.

I am enjoying this popcorn and have not burned it, here is how: Get a bowl ready next to your microwave. Flatten the bag on a table, using your fingers on the outside of the bag, spread the kernels and mix around evenly. Pop for 1:30-1:45 listening to the popping on going on. No popping for 1-2 seconds, take it out of the microwave right away being carful not to burn your hands. Immediately open the bag and pour into your bowl, this way the excessive heat doesn't burn the popcorn. There will always be some kernels left over. Shake it around in the bowl and let it sit for 5 min. Enjoy! My wife didn't like it very much, so that's more for me!

Smaller bag than I was expecting, and there were more than a few "old maids" left, but overall this was a win! Be sure not to go past the 1:30 microwave time, or the bottom will start to burn (trust me on this!). It's super yummy and easy to prepare for a snack or for sitting down to watch your favorite show or movie. I will definitely keep buying this.
