This product paired with the DHT Block absolutely altered my life for the better. I have struggled with severe hormonal acne for over ten years since I was in high school. Three years ago I went to a dermatologist who told me for the first time that I had hormonal acne and rosacea. She suggested Spirnolactone as a safe way to balance the hormones in my body. I have always been incredibly health conscious, am hyper intentional with what I put into my body, am driven by a holistic approach for everything in my life including medicine and prefer a functional approach. Because of this I had put off going to a dermatologist for years after having a horrible experience my first time. I decided to trust my dermatologist for a second time out of pure desperation. She told me that Spironolactone was safe, effective, and had very minimal side effects, if any. So I started to take the prescription and my acne literally melted away. But as my acne started to disappear so did my hair. There was nothing in my life that I had changed. I went back and she told me it was impossible, but I found forums online of desperate women searching for answers after losing their hair after taking what they labeled a “devil drug”. I asked my boyfriends father who had his own medical practice if it was possible and he shared that one in ten women experience hair loss even though the drug is also used as medication to help with hair thinning. I decided to ween myself off of it knowing my acne would come back full force but I desperately wanted to find the holistic alternative for exactly what Spirnolactone was doing inside of my body in order to imitate it but simply without side effects. I e been using this supplement daily along with the triple strength estoblock from the same company. I’ve struggled with hormonal acne sense my teens. A lot of cystic acne appears around jaw and chin area approximately a week before my period starts. I’ve tried every topical solution on the market even prescription retin-A and dapsone. This combo works so good. About two weeks before my period the texture of my skin would visually change, but with this the texture of my skin has remained consistent and my cystic acne around jaw and chin has stopped. Literally stopped. I feel more even too. My mood feels more regulated and I feel less agitated during PMS time. I’m blown away. Both my emotional and physical symptoms seem easier to manage. I’m just floored by the effect this has had on my body. And I wasn’t expecting this to work either… I was really just thinking I guess I’ll give it a try, like everything else… but it works. For me it is worth the $100 a month for this pill combo. Very pleased.

I started taking these at the beginning of May. #PROGRESS I haven't been officially diagnosed with PCOS but my hair loss, irregular periods, facial hair and uncontrollable cystic acne are enough to have me convinced. I've been suffering mainly from hormonal, deep cystic acne since last summer right after I turned 21. Antibiotics helped for a couple months, but the acne came right back full force in January and I've tried just about every topical treatment you could think of with no relief. I realized that the source of my acne was something internal that I needed to get under control. I did some research on hormones and acne and discovered DHT and the negative effects it can have on your body. I figured that if this was the cause of my acne, then there must be something out there to "balance" or "Block" this hormone from creating problems. Prescription drugs like spironolactone were not an option for me-but I'm happy to say I've found natural relief with this product. I've only been taking this for about a month, and can really tell a difference in my skin. My face feels so much smoother, I've notice reduced oil, and reduced size of pimples. My skin isn't completely clear, there is still a lot of acne scarring as well, but has improved so much in such a short amount of time. I'm excited to see where long-term use of this product will take me. I currently take 2 capsules in the morning along with a Women's Multi-Vitamin :) next time I review I'd like to post before and after pictures ! Also to anyone who is suffering from severe acne, don't give up. It's a struggle finding something that works for you, but if you haven't given this product a try, I would definitely reccomend it

I was really struggling with hormonal acne outbreaks for a few years after going off of birth control. I had large cysts that would not come to a head around my chin and jawline that would swell my face horribly. They were so painful and it would take weeks for them to reduce size and heal, and then it would happen all over again around my next period. I went on antibiotics for months which helped for a bit, but was not a forever cure. I used topical ointments that barely helped and finally out of desperation went on Spironolactone. Spironolactone cleared my skin completely, but I had severe and scary side effects from that. I was so disheartened and felt like there was nothing left to try. Then after a rabbit hole of research, I found DHT block. After two months of taking these, I have had two period cycles and after this most recent cycle, my skin is miraculously 100% CLEAR. I never went to get my hormones checked, and might suggest anyone else do that first to understand what is truly going on, but I'm so thankful this worked for me. It also changed my periods - I used to have super long, heavy periods, and now, they are much lighter and only a few days. I also changed my diet to cut out dairy and cut down on gluten. So I do think it has been a perfect combination to get to this point. Many acne treatments act only as band aids for women struggling with hormonal acne, but these supplements actually address the root of the issue which is an imbalance in hormones. I can't say enough great things about how these pills. They have changed my self-esteem and day to day.

Let’s start off with these pills do help with skin within a day or so my skin was so clear. After a week in a half my hair started to fall out. I came back to these reviews and found some other reviews with the similar issue of “increase hair shedding” it was a lot of hair shedding. So now I may take one pill once a day for 2 maybe 3 days a week An it’s clears my skin any more then that my hair will fall out. If they didn’t cause my hair to fall out I’d give these a solid 5 star.

I ordered these when I read how well DHT blockers help with skin and saw good results in the reviews. I took these two days in a row. I took one pill the afternoon that I received it in the mail and one pill the next morning. On the second day I got a low grade headache that didn't dissipate with Ibuprofen and it stuck around for over 24 hours. That isn't normal for me. Also, the third evening (I didn't take the pill that day but still had the low grade headache from the previous day), my husband and I went out and had some drinks. I came home and was sick all night and my low grade headache had turned torturous immediately after we got home. This could be unrelated but I've never gotten that sick from drinking in all of my 37 years and I have been way more drunk than I was that night on plenty of occasions. I'm a very small person so maybe the side effects hit me harder than normal sized people. I'm scared to take anymore. I'll just stick with my oily skin and start thinking of it as "luminous" just to make myself feel better. I'm giving it one star, based on my personal reactions from it but maybe people who aren't 4'11 and 100 pounds will have a better experience.

Hey, if you’re like me struggling with PCOS, cystic acne, or normal acne? This pill works! I’ve been using this since August 2022 and my acne is gone! I was taking birth control to balance my hormones and reduce/stop the acne. BC stopped the acne from being cystic and painful, but the acne kept coming in smaller sizes. I Stumbled on some research about DHT blocking and the more I read the more I felt this was what I needed. I tried this and was skeptical at first so was taking it once a day, I didn’t really put much thought into it until a friend who hadn’t seen me in a while asked what I was using to clear my acne because it was almost gone (as of October). Right now my acne is gone, I’m still taking it but I’m no longer on BC. Now, I’m just working on getting the dark spots on my face, chest and arms cleared. You would definitely get the value for your money. As for taste it doesn’t affect me. I take mine in the morning with coffee. This isn’t a sponsored review, it’s my honest personal experience.

Initially, I felt this was working for my face ( hyperplasia that's hormonal n resembles acne) n for my hair which I find is thinning as I age. I know this thinning is hormonal. When I first started taking this, I was also taking a pomegranate supplement, so maybe that was a plus for hair. This supplement also contains pomegranate n after a week my previous pomegranate supplement had finished n I didn't need more. I initially started taking two capsules together n that gave me a headache, so I did as instructed one in morning and one in evening. No more headaches. My hair is naturally long, : just thin. I didn't want it any thinner n it got thinner. I have completed the two bottles but it made my hair come out more. DIM is not for everyone. No fault of the manufacturer. I am post menopause. DIM may be best for someone who is younger. I lost more hair. I experienced irregular heartbeats , and had to increase my magnesium. When I stopped the supplement, it stopped. This was caused by the astragalus in the supplement. Astragalus is a good plant though. Maybe the combination or dose was having an effect on me. I did purchase two bottles n have basically completed all. I will have to try another DHT blocker.
