Really accurate and easy to use

I have used Hazet tools for years. This time I bought this torque wrench with all confidence to get a top quality german tool. It works great, very precise, easy to use, easy to store. The best choice.

Just wanted to say that there had been some negative reviews regarding how the wrench arrived (shipping) and that it has no storage case. My box arrived a bit beat up but the tool was not compromised. The wrench does not have the typical storage case which is a bit odd, but perhaps it's an EU thing with reducing materials or material waste. It did arrive in a clear tube that I'll certainly keep it in, but it's not a thermo-plastic storage container that you normally get when you purchase a tool of substance.

1 star only for the quality of materials, otherwise would be 0. As many buyers pointed out, 5108-3CT 2.5-25 Nm model is indeed incredibly inaccurate and inconsistent particularly at the lowest setting (2.5 nm may snap anywhere from 1.8 to 3 Nm depending how slowly you approach the target torque). I suspect that this mechanical design is not intended for such a broad range (2.5-25 Nm), it can only be achieved with an electronic torque wrench that can provide 1% accuracy from 2 to 30 Nm. I am pretty sure this model is a marketing gimmick designed for bike owners and the certificate of accuracy for this model is forged. As an example, the best German tool brand "Stahlwille" offers only 4-20Nm range for their mechanical high tier MANOSKOP torque wrench. Check other reviews for 5108-3CT 2.5-25 Nm before buying.

I bought 2.5-25 and 10-60 mostly because they are made in German. It turns out to be a huge disappointment. Both of the wrenches have the problems below. 1. Packaged with cheap plastic cases. I knew it before I bought it so I am ok with this one. 2. Oil on the heads. If you wipe it clean the oil would come out again. 3. Minor scratches and dents on the heads. 4. Small defects on the blue plastic parts. Looks like some leftover holes in the plastic modeling. 5. If the above ones are appearance only. This one is not - the direction knobs would jitter if you go counter-clock wise when the setting is in clock wise. On the 10-60 one the jitter is so bad I am afraid it would change the clock wise setting to counter clock wise itself. Overall it looks dirty and used. Although I like the design but no way it meets my standard at this price point. If you see the international reviews the problems are so common. I am afraid it's because of the manufacturing process. Returning them now.

Parfait, précis et de qualité je recommande

Deze momentsleutel retour gestuurd, omdat bleek dat ik met de ratel niet bij de moeren kon komen van de beoogde objecten. De momentsleutel maakt een solide indruk. Ik heb deze vervangen voor een 5280-3CT met 9x12 insteek mogelijkheid. Dit is een stuk prijziger, maar zo kan er zowel een ratel op, maar ook diverse steek en ring oplossingen die los verkrijgbaar zijn. Hazet heeft een apart te kopen opbergbox 6060BX-2 Safe-Box voor deze momentsleutels.

Sehr gut verarbeiteter Drehmomentschlüssel. Die Verstellung ist einfach und das Gute ist auch, dass das eingestellte Moment nicht wieder auf Null zurückgesetzt werden muss.

Gutes Werkzeug mag zwar etwas mehr kosten, aber es funktioniert immer und perfekt!
