These thermal tie- up curtains are really great. When you let them unfold completely you get a nice, dark room in which to sleep. It also keeps out the hot afternoon sun from our west- facing family room. I'm thinking seriously about the cold kitchen windows in our 60+ year old house! The are nicely made and the material is soft to the touch but they are not flimsy! Really doing the job. Follow the directions for getting out the wrinkles from being packaged. They( the directions) work!!

These curtains are perfect. Decent weight, nice color, and flexibility between black out or tie up to let light in (or animals look out). Plus, I had bought my first set several years ago and moved into a new place and can you believe they’re still available almost a decade later!!!

I can't begin to express how happy I am with these draperies. I had purchased a different brand of 'blackout' curtains and they were a complete failure. I returned them (local business) and searched Amazon. These drapes are 100% polyester, feel and look silky, and are heavy and a double thickness fabric; none of this 'see through' as with other draperies. The ties are about 2 inches wide and quite long enough to tie back or roll up if one wishes. These block the light trying to wake you in the morning. I'm considering purchasing more for another bedroom. I'm sure, since I purchased navy, they'll eventually fade, but for the price, there's no better product out there. I don't make a bow with mine, but a simple overhand knot since I drop them down each night. They still look classy!

The fabric is nice and is true to color. It is kind of a pain to tie up though and not the most esthetically pleasing when all the way down. My biggest issue is that is definitely not a black out shade. It does darken the room, but if you are looking for a completely dark room this won't do it. Maybe the darker colored shades would do beter. It's not a huge deal for me as I was simply wanting to keep the sun from shining right on the baby since it's an east facing room. It does regulate the temperature in the room well though.

Love love love these curtains! They're a super satisfying price and they look expensive. Worth it. I purchased them in navy blue. They tie up easily and they black out any lights if that's what you want. I actually don't roll mine down, I leave them tied up in our living room all the time with a lighter curtain hanging behind it. Have also ran these through the wash a couple times. Their colors keeps well and they still look brand new after a couple washes.

I recently moved out of my parents' home and have moved into my own place. These curtains are inexpensive, do their job (keep light out in the morning; thus, a great night's sleep) as well as they give the room sophistication. I bought two curtains (I have two windows in my room), but might purchase another one because one window is wider (so if you are wanting full coverage, you might consider purchasing more than two, depending on the width of the windows). I like that you can tie up the curtains, but can also let them hang their whole length. I purchased these in burgundy and love the soft texture of them.

The material, size and blackout quality of these curtains is phenomenal! It fits my windows perfectly. In the winter we let the sun in, but now that summer is coming we need to block out the sun or my bedroom goes to 95 degrees. The option of rolling up the bottom will work to let the sun in and even my husband, who has no sense of style, was able to imitate the neat rolling necessary to tie the curtain at the bottom. I have old fashioned hardware & rods, so the pocket at the top doesn't require me to buy new rods. I am also using this in my grandson's room. It really blocks out light so he can nap comfortably. In fact, I'd better make sure my alarm clock works or I'll be sleeping well beyond the morning sunrise.

These are GREAT. I work nights and my other half works 2 days followed by 2 nights. You get ONE curtain per package, I ordered 2 packages and I put both on the same window in our previous home. Currently we have 2 of the 3 windows in our new room covered with these. The 3rd is hidden behind a desk with giant hutch. I have ZERO problems sleeping in the room! They work great! I thought they would lose their effectiveness as they aged but that doesn't seem to be the case. It will be 4 years around Valentines day, still no light gets through unless the curtain is moved. The little ties are easy to use as well! Just roll up the bottom of the curtain and tie off the ribbons. Highly recommend!
