Excellent book for discussing the Holy Spirit
Chuck Smith was a great author. This book is perfect for someone looking for insights into the fruit of the Spirit and how the Holy Spirit works.

insightful and Thorough
As always, Chuck Smith always writes great books filled with spiritual wisdom. He is extremely thorough in explaining who the Holy Spirit is, but also includes the Holy Spirits involvement throughout history and future Bible prophecies, and last but not least, the fruits of the Spirit. Although his writings are always insightful, he doesn’t use big words to make himself “sound smart” but he writes in easy to understand English.

Great overview of the gifts of the Holy Spirit
Finished this book recently and found it very good. I especially liked that Chuck didn't think that all gifts of the Spirit had ceased. I felt the author (Chuck Smith) had a balanced view of how to use the gifts, but sadly many of his churches (Calvary Chapel) don't seem to encourage use of the spiritual gifts. Vineyard churches do - but then there are abuses of the gifts. Hard to strike a balance between obeying the Word and listening to the Holy Spirit. This book doesn't drift and I like it. Read it for a good understanding of the gifts of the Spirit.

Sehr informativers und ausgeglichenes Buch über den Heiligen Geist. Gibt es auch in deutscher Sprache. Kann ich nur empfeheln. God has the power to change lives through His Holy Spirit. This book captures that message and is written to give people a true understanding of how the Holy Spirit works in the life of the believer.

Chuck Smith was a wonderful man of GOD ,and a very prolific author of Christian books, this book ," living water " I have very much enjoyed reading how the HOLY SPIRIT , works in our daily lives , and I thank Chuck for writing this Inspirational book.
