This thing just works.... Using an 18volt dewalt drill, it punches a 12 inch deep hole in every soil I've tried it with.... takes about 6 seconds.. and bonus! It powders the soil when it digs, which makes mixing the soil and filling in around the plant super easy. Not a lot of tools impress me much, but this one does.. I wasn't expecting that. We pop a 12 inch deep hole in the ground, fill with a bit of compost, then a dead fish, then more soil, then the plant goes on top and we fill it in.

It actually works way better than I expected. A good little auger. Be careful that you don't break your wrist when you hit rock because this thing is heavy duty. Two hands on the drill at all times.

Adam worked well could have been wider for the large attachment semi easy to be in while using but still performed very well.

This auger is high quality and makes drilling holes for planting flowers so much easier than digging by hand with a trowel. Not for use around roots or obstacles, but in plain soil (e.g., flower beds), it works great!

The auger it very well, is sturdy and well-made and was a time saver.. You have to be sure to use a low speed on your drill otherwise it will get away from you. I would recommend this product.

I purchased this auger drill bit to help loosen the soil and dig holes for new plants in our front yard, and it worked extremely well. Our soil can be pretty compact, but this attachment made the job much faster and easier than digging everything by hand. It attached easily to our drill, cut through the soil effectively, and saved us a lot of time and effort. We were able to plant multiple flowers and shrubs with much less strain on our backs and hands. If you’re doing any gardening, landscaping, or planting projects, I definitely recommend this auger bit. It was a great purchase and made a big difference in getting our yard projects done efficiently. 🌱🌷🪴💪

These items worked well ith the exception of the larger 3.5" auger seemed to be out of balance while drilling. I don't believe the weld on the shaft was straight but it works for softer dirt. The small 1.6" auger was perfect. Awesome for planting.

Tried this bulb anger today, and it worked great! We have clay soil and it's hard to dig by hand, shovel or post - hole digger. This did fit my hubby's drill. So it goes as fast as the drill, and its sooooo much easier to plant my bulbs, seedlings and plants. It's not so powerful that it kicks out of my hand. But then again it all depends on the drill.

The auger was supplied without the drill. It is just like a piece of rod without the drill. In the picture there is a drill attached to the augur . But in the user manual they are suggesting to use electric drills. Amazon should refrain from advertising such vendors.

too lengthy not surdy, wobbles a lot

Bought this to help loosen up the soil around my rhubarb. I worked like a charm. I used my cordless drill and it easily went down into the compacted soil and with the drill in reverse it easily came back out. I have also used this to loosen up the soil which helped greatly in digging a hole. The metal is sturdy and it seems to be constructed well.

Excellent small auger. I needed to dig 1 1/2 inch holes for a temporary bamboo fence. This worked perfectly, like a tiny posthole digger.
