DDR4 RAM 16GB (2x8GB) 2666 MHz CL19 1.2V 260-Pin Laptop Gaming SODIMM for Intel (MD4S082619IZDC)

These are about the BEST DDR4 modules on the market....assuming these are the ones you are actually sent. After reading about OLOY using multiple vendors for their memory chips, I decided to pick up a set and spin the proverbial wheel. Mind you, this is March 2023. The set I received are FANTASTIC. They use Micron chips. These were tested in a 12th gen (Clevo NH55) laptop so Gear 2 is in play. Testing various sets on 11th and 12th gen laptops (both use Gear2) I've seen other DDR4 sticks hit latency as high as 90ns with bandwidth around 46k. These monsters are down to ~65ns out the box PnP and 48k+ bandwidth which is excellent and matches if not exceeds the current "King of DDR4 PnP SODIMMS" Kingston Impact (Not FURY) HX432S20IB2K2/32 in regards to timings and performance with both sets hitting tRFC of 560. Only needing Vmem 1.20v, they have fantastic timings, are Dual Rank sticks, easy plug and play and passed TM5 no problem. Again, the only issue is these seem to be the exception these days not the norm from OLOY as they also sell these under the same part number in single rank too with higher secondary timings. But if you can manage to get the original chips and spec? Whew....this is about as fast as it gets. 5 stars.

Works in my NUC 12 Extreme running as a Proxmox host at home. Nothing else to say, it works.

Purchased before prices skyrocketed 32GB DDR4 Sodimm 2X16GB set for around $100 I believe. Its speeds and timings aren’t anything to write home about, but it seems to be handling a small game server I’m running off of a mini pc fairly well. Easy to install, it does put off some heat but I am running it 24/7. Good deal for $100, anything beyond that? Less so.

This RAM performs extremely well. The initial two sticks I did get had some issues with memory errors during stress testing. But I simply exchanged them, tested the new ones, and had no issues what-so-ever. I'm removing one star for the initial faulty RAM.

wonderful kit. swapped it out with the previous attempt (some impacts that worked, good). An online video reported that there was performance on the table depending on what ram kit used. Lowest CL and highest MHZ/SPEED is best for this type of CPU. It's memory starved so how fast it responds to a request (CL) and how fast it can give what was requested (bandwidth) matter so the CPU can chew through it. Without XMP as an option (OR DOCP for AMD kits/cpu combos), this needed to work at 1.2v stock DDR4 standard. All report proper speeds without do anything more than what is in BIOS and simply setting the speed if the laptop wants to have an attitude (should be an auto type setting...it's easy). Before, with the stock ram that it came with, cl22/2600mhz it was choppy and the averages were very, unstable and low. With the change in ram, this laptop became a desktop replacement. I have the titles laptop and it's basically a 5800 desktop cpu with a 2070Super equivalent GPU. Without this kit of RAM, you'd reduce the GPU speed down to 2060, at best. Otherwise, the IMPACT is enough but you will always be slower than this kit due to how the CPU wants lower CL's and Higher Speeds, in combination. Stupid good price...st00pid....

Getting no help from HP on intermittent BSODs on a budget pavilion notebook, 5MU54AV, (always passed HPs RAM test and how often do you want to here reload the OS), I decided to replace the RAM. The original RAM was 16G, and I decided to go with 32G after some research. The RAM replacement resolved the intermittent BSOD.

Fit like a glove in Lenovo. Worth every pennie. Check the delivery date. Check the delivery date. in case i forgot to mention check the delivery date.

At 1st I was a little dubious of buying an unknown brand of RAM but I thought I would give it a go and see if it was any good. I was pleasantly surprised as the RAM was detected 1st time and at the advertised speeds. It has been in the system now for about a month and not issues to report. The fact that tis worked as well as it did meant I purchased the same make for a desktop build I did for a friend and they have had no issues either. Don't be afraid to purchase this brand as it lives up to expectations and quality you would expect.

If you have bought a lenovo legion 5 or pro and want to get over the 16GB bottleneck on the Samsung factory installed memory this is the memory for you. Memory has better latency timing than the Kingston impact that everyone is recommending on you tube which has a 20-22-22 timing and costs £220-300, this is £165 and has 18-20-20 latency so it faster and. Cheaper than the impact memory. Works right out the box and makes a massive improvement to the performance of the laptop. What more could you want Great value at a good price.
