Simple and functional. Worth every penny
TwelveSouth has made quality products for at least the last 15 years. Their USB hubs are compact, they have a good range of port options, and the built-in shortie cable is a game changer for travel. Both of my computers give me a “this computer is plugged in to a slow charger” notification when I run my power cable through the hub, but I have not noticed any difference in charging speeds. It threw me off the first time I saw that, but it is a non issue. One of the biggest perks of this hub is its flexibility. I generally work from home, and it is the primary hub I use to connect an external monitor, keyboard, and ethernet cable. Then when I travel, I bring it along so I can have wired internet to keep speeds up.Really a great value product. It just works, plain and simple.

Clutter free and no wifi/internet connection interference
It’s perfect!! Thank you Twelve South for actually designing the most practical and nice looking USB-C Hub out there for those of us who hate a cluttered workspace!I bought a different brand usb-c hub prior to this one that had really great reviews. After hooking it up, and much troubleshooting, I realized it was interfering/cutting off my wifi internet connection of my MacBook Pro. It also had ports on all sides which made it impossible to hide wires coming from all directions. Super messy and cluttered. So I researched some dongles on YouTube and found this one and bought it mostly due to it being the only one that had a longer cord so as not to have the issue of the wifi interference. It works like a charm and it’s perfect in every way!! Because of the length of the wire I can place it where I want to and it’s not pulling or dangling off my computer due to a short cord. It does come with a handy short cord that is stored inside the dongle, which is perfect for traveling. The overall design is sleek and my workspace is not cluttered with wires anymore. Best part is, there is no interference with my internet wifi connection!! The StayGo exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t be happier.

Great little hub/dock with one limitation: external video refresh rate
So far it feels like a very classy little port replicator compared to others I've seen. Ports are mostly in good places, and while there's a built-in USB-C cable you don't have to rely on it. I prefer an external, removable cable because my last dock had a built-in cable which, once damaged somehow, couldn't be repaired, meaning the end of the dock after a very short time. This only supports one external monitor but that's all I need. Works with my Asus gaming laptop (asus rog zephyrus g14 ryzen 9 6900hs) and my Macbook (M2 silicon, 14" I think), as well as an HP Chromebook tablet HP Chromebook x2 11-da0023dx.One downside: The external monitor HDMI support seems to only go to 50Hz on my big monitor with resolution of 3440x1440. This is true on both my Windows and Mac machines. (Don't remember about the Chromebook.)On the whole I like it a lot. I will see if I can live with the low refresh rate. They got everything else right.---UPDATE after several months, nothing but trouble-free service. Wish it had a couple more ports -- like,1 more USB-C and 1 more USB-A -- but other than that I'm really happy with it. If it meets your specs it won't let you down.

Better Than Expected
I have only had this for about 24 hours but I can say without hesitation that this little guy is surpassing my expectations. I have a Surface Pro 7 and have been looking for an affordable dock that has power passthrough, acts as a USB hub, and can go USB-C to HDMI without costing me a few hundred bucks. This ticks every box.Form factor is even smaller than I expected, which is a plus since I am working with limited desk space at the moment, but it still has everything you need and feels surprisingly sturdy and dense (Surface Pen next to it for reference). The included 1m C-to-C cable with the 90° end is just.... muah! Makes the whole setup so much cleaner. Can't stand the Surface's top placement of the port but this mitigates it as much as is possible.I did purchase a 100w USB-C charger that I ran into it, as the device itself eats about 15w, then needs at least 65w for the Surface, and the extra bit in there is plenty for my external SSD and a few peripherals. Need to do some cable management still, but the form factor of this thing is awesome.I will update if I run into any issues or any burnouts, but first impressions have me excited about this.Definitely recommend!

A generally nice product but it has some compatibility issues
For the most part I really like this USB hub, but I also have one major difficulty with it.What I like:The unit is very compact, and it has a good, high-quality feel with an all-metal body. The USB ports all operate well with solid, reliable, fast connections. What I do not Like:The hub includes 2 memory card slots. It has a full size SD card slot and a micro SD card slot. I purchased this hub for use with a Lenovo laptop. Unfortunately, both memory card slots are not operational when connected to that laptop. The symptom is that the slots appear in File Explorer when no cards are plugged in, but the cards are never seen when plugged into the hub. Ironically, when plugged into my desktop computer, it works just fine. Every other USB device that I have ever tried with the laptop works fine. This hub is the only item I have ever had no work with it.As a test, I performed a 100% clean install of Windows on the laptop and the SD card slots still do not work.In my case, the SD card slots are not really strictly necessary, I can work around it by plugging in a separate reader into one of the USB ports, but it is still a bit disappointing.

Great Build & Design
There are literally gobs of these USB-C hub things on the market today and most of them are junk. I can't stand those 2 inch long dangling dongles hanging off my MacBook Pro--worst design ever. But not so with the StayGo. Its very well made and designed with a nice long cable that attaches at either end and one end even has a right angle plug--well thought out. Theres even an extra hidden short cable inside this tuff aluminum compact unit so you can leave the long one and hit the road with the other one.I must've looked at and reviewed at least 50 different kinds of hubs before I decided on this one and Im not sorry in the least. Worth the extra cost for something this well made, which is a rarity these days.

Don’t waste your money.
Total waste of money. Worked occasionally for a month or so. Loved the design but it just didn’t function correctly and never supplied power to anything connected.

Great product from 12South.
More than what I need as far as speed and connections. Have used it on two trips, its great both at home and on trips. I more than recommend this product for use with the iPad Pro.

Great
Very happy with this, good quality well built item. I mostly use this as a docking station, I have a desk set up with monitor, keyboard, mouse etc and switch between two different laptops for work plus my own Macbook Pro. It's hidden behind the desk and plugged into my Macbook power supply cable. The included 1m cable can then switch between laptops and charges them and connects them to everything without having to move anything else around. Also handy to take out and about with the hidden smaller cable inside to use as an adaptor for my Mac which obviously only has Thunderbolt ports on it. Very happy.

Worked for 1 year and 3 months.
Worked great to have it as one cable to connect monitor, audio interface, webcam and charging my MacBook Pro. However it stopped working after 1 year which I don't think is OK for the price.

Great so far! Need to follow up after heavier usage
Have to say that my expectations were low after trying numerous docks and hubs that would not work with a surface book 3 and an m1 2020 Mac. Each of the devices had their own quirks and this one is not an exception. I find that switching between the Mac and surface book at times causes the USB devices to become unrecognizable. The solution is to power cycle the dock not that big of a deal. This device also gets fairly warm but considering its body acts as a heat sink this should be expected..This device has ended my month long hunt for a worthy dock that can be swapped between thunderbolt and usbc that also has a long lead and PD. It's also 1/3 the price of the kensington dock I recently returnedWill follow up after 3 monthsPurchased this off Amazon warehouse for a decent discount3 Month Follow up - Device has been running great with all day usage. Only problem to report are certain devices like Streamdeck require unplugging and reconnecting after a loss of power to the dock. My desk set up runs through smart plugs so it loses power daily and this has become a nuisance but it is not a problem if I leave the dock connected to power. I would still recommend this device do not take this as a complaint..
