This has better hold than most big name brands and does what it’s supposed to. Smells great and doesn’t weigh down my hair. Lasted a while between me and my daughter so definitely worth the money.

My curls love the protein from the flaxseed, and the hold of the marshmallow root. I don’t really notice a smell, but I do notice how long I can go between wash days. Yes, this will make your hair crunchy when it dries, but I love a great crunch ;). After I scrunch out that crunch my hair is light and curly. To refresh, I mist with water, let it dry, and scrunch. This gel has cut my morning routine in half on refresh days, and I am now able to go 4-5 days between washes. Picture is day two hair.

This hair gel/cream is really good for curly hair. My hair is more of a loose curl curly. But I always need some type of gel or cream to keep it frizz free and contain my curls. This one has been great. A little goes a long way I learn that when I first purchase, I spray a bit of water to it, I add a dab to the palm of my hand and then spray some water and I mix it well with my hands and distribute through my wet hair and that does it for me. I do split my hair in two and repeat on the other side. I really do not use a lot and when it dries my hair is so pretty, curls are flowy, and has shine and look and feel great. This will last you a long time if you use it moderately. great product!

I have fine, wavy, salt n pepper hair, this stuff works to give it body, 2 to 3 day hold with minimal frizz. I have found that I need to diffuse until half-dry to get that body and lift, but that’s ok with me. It says to keep in fridge. And it has a “best by” date on it. When I was two weeks past that date, my ears and scalp were itchy and red, before I realized I was past that date. And this second order arrived in a plastic envelope and was already warm because of the weather. I hope it does not go bad before the expiration date 😳. So my reason for not giving it five stars is the refrigeration and expiration date problem.

Provides shine, volume, and smells GREAT!! My husband uses this, also! Highly recommend, but MUST follow instructions with this one! *LOVE this brand; we have tried several of their products; this variety is a fave! Was so sad when traveling recently, as it accidentally got left behind in fridge at our room..! : *(

So this my first time trying a gel in a long time. I wanted something botanically derived. I always want my products to support genuine hair health not just styling. This product did not provide the hold I was looking for. Just barely added any definition to my natural waves. However, interestingly enough this provided the hydration my hair has been looking for. I have very fine hair long hair and the ends are always dry which I haven’t been able to figure out. This product made my hair softer and my ends feel more normal. I think I was expecting a more noticeable orangey scent. However I would be totally fine with it being unscented. I’m just happy it didn’t have artificial fragrance —that’s a deal breaker for me. I can’t do the headaches. Botanical scents are more expensive, but I’m a big believer in them in both full bodied scent enjoyment and health. Rather than an orange marmalade gel, to me this was more like a tapioca pudding hydration treatment. Not sure whether I will repurchase for the hydration effect or not. I will need to find a stronger gel I think. My waves just fall too easily into soft fine fluff. I like this company’s natural approach so I will explore their other products.

Love this product! A little goes a long way. Gives a flexible to intense hold depending on how much you use.

Amazing slip, super defined and soft curls, but I hate that it has to be stored in a fridge or otherwise it will have a very short shelf life.
