Great Taste for curry sauce

I was so bummed to find that the grocery stores in my area no longer carry canned coconut cream. After beating the paths to four different grocers, I was annoyed and frustrated. BUT as anyone and everyone knows, when you can't find something, Amazon is your new best friend. With the holidays coming, I was a woman on a mission - I needed unsweetened, canned coconut milk, and I needed it NOW! There weren't a whole lot of brand options, but I did find the one I had purchased in the past, as well as the Thai Kitchen coconut cream. Because of the great reviews, I decided to live dangerously and try the Thai Kitchen. Holy Smokes, I have to say that the Thai Kitchen Coconut Cream is awesome! I just used it to make sugar free, dairy free Irish Cream, and it ROCKS! Even my hubby said it was fabulous, and he is picky as all get outs. Sugar free, (and dairy free) sweetened condensed milk (to use in holiday rum balls) will be project number two. I have been sugar free for almost 8 years, and now sadly, gluten has had to go as well....so for me, this is a gold mine!! I did receive a couple cans that were slightly dented, but I am not even taking a star off for that, since I am so happy with the cream inside of the can. Doing the happy dance tonight...but I have to confess, it might be the Jameson Black Barrel contributing just a bit.

Cannot find these in our WA stores. Nice & thick. Every can was dented, but product is OK. Good product.

I use this to make my nice cream which is frozen banana and blueberries. It makes the ice cream creamy. Since I have Prime I didn’t have to spend money on gas going to the grocery store. It is like having the grocery store come to you.

I love Thai Kitchen products, typically, and this is the first time I've tried their coconut cream. I do like their coconut milk. But this feels and tastes more like milk than cream. While it's thicker than their coconut milk, I have a case of milk of another brand, and the Thai Kitchen is very much like that coconut milk in flavor and texture. We use coconut cream as coffee creamer, and this just doesn't add the richness we like. I will use this as I use coconut milk, but I won't purchase it again. I've compared the fat content with my favorites, and the TK is lower in fat. The taste is fine...nothing wrong with the product itself, it's just not rich enough for its intended use for me.
