Worked 100% perfectly to replace CyberPower 550VA UPS battery
I had a CyberPower 550VA UPS that needed a replacement battery. This one arrived in perfect condition, and fit easily inside the UPS. The dimensions exactly matched the previous battery. I worried too much about the height before it arrived, but it's an exact replacement. No problems. Excellent price. UPDATE: 6 MONTHS LATER: Still going strong, no problems at all and it's working as expected. Still very happy with product. It's held up through several power glitches and even more intentional shifting around of the power plug on my UPS as I reorganize cabling. 6 months later, I'm still 100% satisfied.

Great Battery for my UPS.
Great battery for my UPS. I had one of these die after just over 3-years two months. Ordered another one because it is needed.

Got my CyberPower UPS back online in 15 minutes!
This was the recommended replacement battery (pair) for my 5.5-year-old CyberPower UPS unit, it's a perfect fit, and now my UPS is back up and running perfectly. Note: you should definitely find the YouTube or other set of instructions for how to disassemble your unit and replace the battery safely. The procedure shouldn't daunt anyone who knows how to swing a screwdriver and some pliers. I can't yet vouch for how many years it's likely to last, but let's hope for the same 5.5 (I think CyberPower says 3-5 for the original batteries). Doing the battery replacement was less than half the price of even a refurb UPS, so this was definitely the cost effective way to go.

Pretty Good Battery for Price
Lasted 2.5 yrs. I thought batteries were supposed to last 3-5yrs. I did have a few outages last summer and probably the summer before as well. But, still, that doesn't seem quite enough to warrant the short lifespan. It's not as if I let the battery completely drain each time. But 2.5yrs for about $20 is still a pretty good deal. I can't remember what the installation experience was like last time. But, for my new battery, installation was a little bit of a hassle. I had to use needle-nose pliers to adjust the black wire's position while battery was in place. And, since it's behind the red wire, it's best to wait until after you adjust the black wire before you attach the red wire, which will also require the needle-nose pliers.

There a lipo battery that sells for 50% more and lasts 8 times as much
I have the Cyberpower 600VA UPS and it fits exactly like the vendor says. One installation tip I would give is the "old battery" is difficult to remove the leads to the battery so I suggest getting a small screwdriver and hammer and placing the screwdriver where the lead would come off, tap gently and it will come off easily. I also suggest putting a piece of masking tape on the side of the new battery that faces out marked SH1228W battery. This is not marked on the new battery! Update: The battery is fantastic so I bought two (I have two Cyberpower 600VA UPSs). The second one (the newest one) was actually hard to squeeze in because the leads on the Cyberpower are just a little too short. This one require putting one lead on and pulling it snug with needle nose pliers. I think Cyberpower doesn't want you to replace the battery. I used the same techniques as above to put on the second lead. Update 7/13/21: I just purchased the third time because my Mighty Max Battery failed in just shy of two years ( 1 week away). I assume this battery has a 1 year warranty so I didn't complain but bit a third time (I do have two Cyberpower UPS's. I think the ease of replacing the battery is 5 stars. I will hold judgement in the life of the battery! Update 2/9/24 I just ordered the battery a fifth time (I have two Cyberpower UPS). Not one hour from my ordering, I could not cancel the order, nor could I cancel the order after I got it. I subsequently learned that I could get a LIPO battery that I could install with a lighter weight, bigger capacity, same size, and it would outlive 8 times as long. I have come to understand that you can drain down 500 times a lead acid battery and 4000 times a LIPO battery. If you look around at LIPO batteries on Amazon you will see the battery that you SHOULD buy with a video using the same thing (swapping the heavy outdated battery for the new LIPO) in a UPS!!!! I'm mad as hell that I didn't benefit this from review.

Inexpensive replacements to the unknown "BB" brand in my Cyberpower 1350AVR UPS
Update Jan 2021: Finally my first MightMax battery (from Oct 2017) died. Not bad considering a $35 battery pair lasted 3yrs+. Granted, they were mostly running on STANDBY, I never had an extended blackout lasting more than 10 seconds - because I have an automatic whole-house standby generator that comes on after 10 seconds. So while there is a NEWER model (9Ah instead of 8Ah, for $5 more - effectively increasing backup run time by 28% from the original 7Ah battery in my CyberPower 1350VA, CST1300AL), these will do just fine for my purposes. Top tip: to keep track of things, if you have a label printer, stick on the install date (maybe even model number) of your battery on the outside of the unit so you know from a glance how long it has been since your last battery change. Also; one thing to keep in mind, over the years, you may see improved battery capacity (the "Ah" rating going up for the same sized battery), but it does not mean it will make your UPS produce higher watts. It will only make it run slightly longer when on battery power. Updated review Mar 2019: I'm happy to report everything is working fine. Another couple of my CyberPower UPS (1350VA, CST1300AL - with original batteries) have died since and I've bought more of these to replace them - most recent one being just a week ago. None of the Mighty Max batteries (including my original Oct 2017 purchase) are having any issues so far, so I'm very happy with the purchase and will pretty much use my UPS's indefinitely by simply swapping dead batteries out when they go out. I have 3 of these UPS models in my home and all 3 have now been replaced with Mighty Max batteries. Original review: Oct 2017: My Cyberpower 1350AVR died and rather than buying a new UPS unit, swapping out the battery saved me a bunch. The factory battery was BB Battery. I have never heard of BB Battery! Tell me Yuasa, Panasonic, sure. So I figured Mighty Max is probably the same level as BB. It even has a 1Ah advantage! I kept the original battery intact until these Mighty Max's arrived. I pretty much disassembled the twin battery assembly and immediately reassembled it back in the same way. The adhesive sticky tape that held the 2 batteries together was weak, so I replaced it with some 3M packaging tape, and put the original tape pull tab back over it. I can't say I've tested the battery run time, but the battery meter shows full now, so I guess I'm happy with it. Will have to wait for an extended blackout to know if these are as good as the originals.

This worked great for my 10 year old UPS
First this came quickly, and was a exact fit replacement for the battery in a old UPS unit. 2 minute install and my Ups was back in business at a fraction of the cost of buying a new UPS. Only time will tell on how long it lasts. This is to power my modem for temporary power outages. I would recommend.
