Rough, but great value
These are in pretty unrefined condition when you receive them. So far though, I've thrown 17HMR, 9mm pistols, 9mm PCCs, .22 pistols and rifles and 40S&W at them without so much as a smudge or ding in the surfaces. I tried deburring the holes, but that will need a pretty industrial solution. If not, just use chains or heavy/metal hooks (plastic, paracord, or rope just won't hold up to the abuse). These give off a really satisfying ping! Every time you hit them and they reset pretty quick due to the weight for follow-up shots. Other than having difficulties keeping them attached to the target frame, these are everything I was looking for in steel plates.

Excellent product for target shooting, puts some fun into the process
This review it for 1/2" Thick AR500 Steel Shooting Targets. I was going to try and build something out of scrap but saw these on one of the youtube shooting channels. Looked them up on Amazon and figured why not. Well, these things are literally bullet proof (at least for anything my friends and I might send down range at them) and will last forever, this includes 7.62 x .39 so you know they are tough. Gets boring just shooting at paper and we love the sound of a round smacking metal. Suggestion for when you use these. Hang them from chain attached to the rear of the target, this will have the bottom of the target angled slight away from you. This is a good thing when firing lead rounds that will often explode on impact so the angle helps send the fragments towards the ground instead of back towards you. Be careful what is under the target for the same reason. There is a great video on youtube showing slow motion how the lead projectile "splatters" on impact. This is why I did the above.

Steel target.
These are amazing for the price. The sizes are dead on and are 1/2 thick like they say. Have over 1000 rounds of 22lr on them a probably another 500 round of 223 308 243 and even 28 nosler and other magnums and still look great.

Great targets, great price
Had these about two years now. Pistols can't leave a den and rifles don't hurt them much either. The edges are kind of rough, but they're not show pieces so who cares? Definitely recommend.

Very well made
Great attention to quality. They arrived with rust all over them and it took quite a bit of work to clean them up and prep them for painting but it was worth the work. Extremely tough and haven't had a problem. I have shot them with up to a 300 Winchester mag with very little damage at all. That caliber left a very little dent on them. Well worth the money but they were a lot smaller than I thought they would be.

Good targets for a great price.
I have several steel target systems, and these represent the best value. So far I have only shot them with pistol calibers, so I will update this review after I use some rifle calibers. They are actually 1/32" shy of a 1/2", but that's minor. The other reviews griping about sharp edges and a light covering of rust are not wrong, but when to compare these targets to the much more expensive options out there, they are still a great deal. All steel targets need to be continually painted after use to maintain them for the long haul. I will probably buy more of these, especially if they hold up well to 5.56 & .30-'06. Will advise.
